This facility, which features Western-style architecture, was opened in 1981 as the Mikuni Ryushokan, a museum for the former Mikuni town, modeled after the exterior of Ryusho Elementary School from the Meiji era. It has just reopened as the Sakai City Ryusho Museum in 2023! Inside the museum, there are fun and friendly exhibits, focusing on the history of Sakai City.
