The sandalwood is curling, the sound of the piano is melodious, and the sun shines through the carved window lattices, casting mottled light and shadows on the ground. The waiter, dressed in a simple and elegant cheongsam, walked lightly and led me to my seat. A mahogany tea table, a few Ming-style armchairs, and exquisite tea sets were placed on the table.
