It wasn't until the 1970s that photography was included in museum collections. The exhibition "Another Avant-Garde" focuses on reviewing the moment when photography became a mainstream medium of contemporary art. Through ten chapters, it presents more than 200 pioneering works by over 30 avant-garde artists. ✨ Exhibition Highlights: The exhibition begins with "Images for Women," which for the first time turned the camera on the audience, opening the curtain on photographic art. In the exhibition, you will have an intuitive feeling that photography is no longer just a series of images, but has become a series of stories and expressions. Through various design shapes, image fragmentation and reconstruction, behavior and photography are combined. Group works account for a high proportion of the exhibition, and "Star Action," "Beijing East Village," and "Finding Myself" are all worth seeing. "Laboratory: Developing with One Hand, Fixing with the Other" and "Prayer" have unique perspectives. The first picture, "Lotus Community," is a photographic work composed of more than 100 works from the same community. It is very creative and unexpectedly harmonious.
