My First Experience at Andaz Shenzhen Bay 1. Overall Impression and Transportation I had a great experience at Andaz Shenzhen Bay. I took a Hong Kong–Guangdong bus from Hong Kong to Shenzhen Bay Port, and it took less than an hour to reach Nanshan. The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the port. Even if I came here every weekend, I wouldn't feel tired. The transportation is very convenient. 2. Room Experience The hotel is quite new, and both the hardware and software are excellent. I stayed in a Deluxe City View King Room, which looked exactly like the photos on the official website. I could clearly see Shenzhen Talent Park and the stadium from the room. The view was amazing. The room was also well soundproofed. There was a Richie Jen concert downstairs during my stay, but there was almost no noise in the room, so I could rest quietly. This was really great. 3. Hotel Facilities The hotel has all the necessary facilities. The gym and changing room are particularly worth mentioning. The gym is quite large for a hotel, and there aren't many people there. It's very comfortable to work out there occasionally. The changing room is larger than those in most hotels. It has a bath and a place to "sunbathe." There isn't actually any sun, but there are beach chairs where you can sit and read or rest. It's very relaxing. 4. Areas for Improvement I think the design of the main entrance and lobby is a little lacking in grandeur. If there are three groups of guests checking in at the same time, the lobby will feel crowded, and there will be no privacy. The area for getting food during cocktail hour is also small, and you have to pass the restroom to get food, which is a little inconvenient. I hope the lobby will be more spacious in the future, which will make the overall experience even better. 5. Other Features The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's next to Shenzhen Bay MixC, so it's very convenient for shopping and entertainment. The service isn't particularly attentive, but it meets expectations and is satisfactory. The hardware is also very good, and you can fully experience the atmosphere of a city vacation here. Overall, Andaz Shenzhen Bay is a great hotel. Although there are some areas for improvement, its advantages are also very prominent. It's worth experiencing.
