The gray and green forest -Kunming Stone Forest

It is definitely not the usual luscious green forest. The limestone karst is Huge and Amazing. Kunming with its perpetual spring-like weather, the karst is surrounded by green trees, green grass, white clouds and blue skies. You can't help but wonder how majestic the whole place is as you walk around, above and under the karst. The place is 1.5hrs away from downtown Kunming and is easily assessible by public transport if you want to save (A LOT!!) on transportation cost. Just take the metro to East Coach Station (Line3) and purchase a bus ticket to Shilin Scenic Area RMB35/pax. Entrance fee is RMB 130 (half price for kids btw 1.2 to 1.4m and elderly >60yo), additional RMB 25 for the tram/electric vehicle to bring you in/out/around the park.
