The arrival of spring bestowed an extra touch of enchantment to the surroundings, and the tranquil landscapes encircling the shrine left us utterly speechless. The awe-inspiring vistas etched enduring memories in our minds that shall forever be cherished. Renowned Edo-era ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige immortalized the beauty of this serene oasis along the Shakujii River in a breathtaking painting, solidifying its status as one of the ‘One Hundred Famous Views’ of the ancient city. Meticulously reconstructed by Kita Ward in the year 1988, this picturesque rocky park stands as a tranquil haven conveniently located adjacent to Oji Station, offering visitors a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
