Clifford Pier: Must see heritage site

#localhistory Clifford Pier used to be a pier in the Marina Bay area which was opened in 1933 and stop opearting in 2006. The name was in memory of Sir Hugh Clifford, former Governor of the Straits Settlements. Clifford Pier is the pier for immigrants and other sea passengers. The pier was later used as a terminal for tourists and day trippers who boarded small boats and ferries heading for the Southern Islands. The terminal is current at Marina South Pier now. Currently The Clifford Pier is located inside the Fullerton Bay Hotel, which is a very expensive hotel more expensive than Fullerton. It is also one of the more expensive venue and highly sort after for wedding. Especially with the chandelier lights and if couple add on wedding/floral decorations. On non event days there used to be a restaurant however currently during the pandemic it is closed. I heard that only the outdoor bar is open and finger food is serve. At this moment I know that main dishes from different restaurants in Fullerton can allow guests to other dishes from each other.
