Former site of Qing Tai'an County.

　　There were 8 streets and alleys in ancient Tai'an: Tongtian Street (Jingyan Street), Fugong Street, Yangsheng Street, Caiyuan Street (Caiyuan Street), Daguan Street (Yueyan Street), Lingzhi Street, Erya Street, and Shengping Street. Among them, Tongtian Street is located on the central axis of Tai'an Ancient City, starting from Dongyue Street in the north and ending at Caiyuan Street in the south. It was originally named "Jingyan Street", which means "Tai Mountain Rock, Lubang Suo Zhan". It was renamed "Tongtian Street" at the end of the Qing Dynasty, meaning "the street leading directly to the sky". On the east side of the street, there is a majestic and antique gate with the words "Old County Yamen Courtyard" on the plaque. This is the west gate of the old county yamen. Inside is a three-story building with shops lined up in a row. There are many special delicacies, but more are calligraphy and painting, antiques, and a strong cultural atmosphere of calligraphy and painting. With the development of the city and the changes of the times, the function of the old county yamen has also changed, but the past of the old county yamen is buried in the memory of the city.
