Exploring Taichung: Memory Maker - 50-Year-Old Hardware Store Café

While wandering near the Model Market in Taichung, I stumbled upon 'BeanGood Café,' which started as a coffee cart and has now become a street-side shop. The café retains the traditional hand-painted signboard of the old hardware store, giving it a retro and charming vibe. The open space is perfect for relaxing, daydreaming, or chatting after a stroll along the Greenway. Besides their popular house-roasted beans, their cinnamon rolls are also a hit. This time, I tried the limited edition #MilletWineCoffee. It was slightly sweet but overall fresh-tasting. The alcohol content is low, so you can taste a hint of millet wine without getting drunk. The owner mentioned that their #Tiramisu is made with tofu, so I had to try it. The texture isn't as creamy as mascarpone cheese, but it makes the dessert feel light and refreshing.
