Playa de las Americas

The busy beach of Playa de las Americas in Tenerife is such a vidid place during the day. So many (for some even too many) people gather for sunbathing and having a few drinks. I like to spend some time in the beach restaurants to have lunch and watch the busy area during the peak hours. While passing by later during the day. I was wondering why so many people like to gather together at Play de las Americas in Tenerife early in the evening. Many had cameras ready so I knew there would be something worth seeing. I decided to wait for a while with them and what I saw was a magnificent sunset, one of the best I have ever seen and I have seen many. When the sun is starting to set, the beach slowly empties and people move towards the beach boulevard to do shopping and eating in the numerous restaurants nearby. But this is something you should consider not missing: the sunset. There are numerous places where it can be seen but the view is really worth seeing. Nothing blocks the view when the sun slowly disappears to the horizon and colors the sky to reddish orange before the darkness. It’s really a moment to say goodbye for the present day and hope to see the sun again tomorrow. You can access Playa de las Americas from the road TF-1 that goes around Tenerife.
