Viewing the 787 at Chubu Airport

Arriving at Nagoya's Chubu Airport, come out of Meitetsu and walk along the elevated corridor between the airport terminals for about 10 minutes towards T2, following the 'FLIGHT OF DREAM' signs. A Boeing 787 is parked indoors. 1️⃣ The 787 Dreamliner on display is the world's first Boeing 787 Dreamliner. After this aircraft completed all its test flights and received certification from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Boeing donated the prototype 787 to Nagoya. For this, Chubu International Airport specially built a hangar to exhibit the aircraft. Inside the exhibition hall, there are televisions that specifically introduce how the hangar was built and how the aircraft was brought into the hangar and mounted on the display stands. 2️⃣ The bottom floor of the hangar allows you to view the aircraft up close, and there are children's play facilities behind the tail of the plane. The upper two floors of the hangar are restaurants and cafes. 3️⃣ Friends can queue up to visit the inside of the aircraft, with a waiting time of about 30 minutes. I originally thought the entire cabin could be visited, but after going up, I found that only the cockpit was open for viewing, and a transparent partition was installed at the cockpit door. You can only check in from outside the partition, and the rest of the cabin is blocked off by opaque partitions, making it impossible to see the cabin. This is essentially a blessing for aviation enthusiasts and subconsciously cultivates the next generation's interest in the civil aviation industry, something that domestic airports generally lack.
