Chile 🇨🇱 Torres del Paine National Park | W Trek

Patagonia is the southernmost region of South America, with unique shaped peaks, lakes, and glaciers near the Andes Mountains in the west, making it a paradise for outdoor hikers. The most beautiful areas include the central Chilean Torres del Paine National Park and the region near El Chaltén in Argentina. There are two main hiking routes in Bainei, the W line and the O line. The O line is about 50 kilometers longer than the W line. Torres del Paine W Trek Length: 70 kilometers Elevation gain: 2,700 meters 📷 Itinerary: 🚗🅿️Welcome Center - ⛺️Campamento Torres - ⛺️Francés - ⛺️Italiano - ⛺️Grey - Ice Hike - ⛴Hotel Lago Grey ℹ️&📌: 1️⃣The campsite in the park is operated by three companies, and the campsite managed by CONAF Forestry Bureau has only basic facilities. 2️⃣The campsites managed by two other private companies have beds. During peak season, it is necessary to book in advance. If you manage to book, you don't need to carry camping equipment. The only downside is that Refugio Chileno, which is closest to the three towers, is a two-hour walk away and it's inconvenient for watching the sunrise. 3️⃣ Private campsites can also book pre-set tents. Francés upgraded once for free, so fragrant! ❗️ 4️⃣For campsites with restaurants, make sure to book meals in advance‼️ Especially for dinner. We couldn't get dinner at Cuernos. Francés was lucky to have dinner and breakfast, and even though there was only a piece of chicken for dinner, it was still satisfying. We couldn't get dinner at Grey for two nights, so we sadly had to eat mashed potatoes and canned fish🐟. 5️⃣ Private campsites generally have shower facilities (which may be cold water) and offer some supplies for purchase.
