Tokarevsky Lighthouse, located in Vladivostok, is one of the city's iconic landmarks. Situated at the southern tip of Tokarevsky Spit, it overlooks the Peter the Great Bay and the Eastern Bosphorus Strait. Tokarevsky Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in the Russian Far East. The earliest beacon was established in 1876, while the existing round white stone tower was built in 1910 and officially put into operation in 1913. The lighthouse stands about 11.9 meters tall on an octagonal base, with a sturdy structure that has withstood numerous storms and tides.
