Xiaoxitian was built by Zen Master Dongming in the second year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming dynasty (1629). Originally named Qianfo Temple, it was named for the thousand statues in the Mahavira Hall. 🌟Highlights: The temple covers an area of only 1,100 square meters, but it has many halls, including the Mahavira Hall and Manjusri Hall. ✅Must-try: Xiaoxitian is famous for its colored hanging sculptures from the Ming dynasty, which are preserved in the Mahavira Hall.
