The guild hall was originally located outside the east gate of the ancient city, but it was burned down due to war in the 21st year of the Guangxu period (1895 AD). Later, the merchants from Shanxi and Shaanxi rebuilt the guild hall on the back street in the city (now Xinlong Lane) and completed it in the 26th year of the Guangxu period (1900 AD). The architectural style of Xining Shanxi and Shaanxi Guild Hall is Chinese, with a sophisticated layout and rich connotations in each hall, demonstrating the strong economic strength and cultural connotations of the merchants from Shanxi and Shaanxi. The guild hall covers an area of about 10 mu and faces south. It consists of the Shanxi and Shaanxi Guild Hall and the God of Wealth Temple. Its architectural features include the "eight" wall as part of the facade. The east and west "eight" walls are composed of a Sumeru seat, a brick-carved flower wall, and a tile roof. They are built with blue bricks on the outside and adobe on the inside. The brick grinding and seam technology is exquisite. The "eight" shape is like open arms, implying that it embraces and tolerates everything. The main buildings of the guild hall are arranged along the central axis, including the mountain gate, the stage, the incense hall, the Guandi Temple, and the Sanyi Building, forming four interconnected and independent courtyards. 🎟️Ticket: No reservation required, free admission 💗Other tips: It is located in the city center and is convenient to visit
