| Ya'an Mengding Mountain. Mengding Mountain is one of the birthplaces of China's tea planting industry and tea culture. More than two thousand years ago, during the Western Han Dynasty, the tea master Wu Lizhen began to domesticate and plant wild tea trees on Mengding Mountain, marking the beginning of the history of artificial tea planting. The natural vegetation in the tea area is very good, the soil has strong drainage, there is plenty of precipitation but little waterlogging, mist and clouds linger, rain and heat occur in the same season, and the frequency of drought is extremely low, providing the most excellent conditions for the formation of high-quality tea. With the right climate and geographical advantages, nature has bestowed Mengding Mountain with the perfect environment, naturally producing excellent tea. Transportation: Traveling from Chengdu towards Ya'an, after passing the Chengdu Plain, one enters the Mengding Mountain tea area composed of plains, plateaus, and hills.
