The Shwe Dagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar

#newyearnewtrip #yangon #myanmar #shwedagon Has anybody ever heard of this Pagoda before? This is one of Myanmar’s most scared pagoda and holds great meaning to buddhists. It is known to contain relics from the 4 previous buddhas. If you’re a man, you’re allowed to observe the pagoda on a closer level as the area is prohibited to women. This place definitely holds a lot of memories of my childhood. Do give it a visit if you ever find yourself in Myanmar, you’ll be amazed by the Pagoda’s size! Happy Travels ~
