Hidden among the mountains and rivers of Yichang is a dreamlike world - Xialaoxi Plum Garden. This 350-acre plum garden is like a pearl in the world. It was unveiled in 2017, revealing its unique charm to the world. Step into the plum garden and you will find more than 2,000 native plum trees scattered around. They have all been carefully cultivated by experts from the China Plum Blossom Research Center, and more than 20 varieties compete for beauty here. Winding paths meander through the garden, with strange rocks along the way. The plum trees grow on the rocks, and the rocks are enhanced by the fragrance of the plum blossoms. The two complement each other, like a natural ink painting. Every year from the end of January to the beginning of February, the plum blossoms quietly begin to bloom. By mid-February, the plum blossoms are in full bloom, decorating the entire plum garden like a dream. This 40-day flowering period is a visual feast given to people by nature. Take bus 10-1 and get off at Sanyoudong Station, or take bus 890 directly to the entrance of the scenic spot, or drive there.
