The Pujiu Temple in Shanxi is the only temple in the world where love is discussed.

- The exact time of the construction of Pujiu Temple is difficult to verify. From the unearthed cultural relics, it can be inferred that it already existed in the early Sui Dynasty and was called Xiyongqingyuan at that time. During the Five Dynasties, because Guo Wei listened to the advice of the monks during the siege and kept his vow not to kill the people, Xiyongqingyuan was renamed Pujiu Temple. In the ninth year of the Republic of China, it suffered a fire and was later destroyed by the invading Japanese army, leaving only the Yingying Tower, stone lions, and Bodhisattva Cave. In 1986, the government repaired Pujiu Temple. Pujiu Temple is the place where the story of the classic Chinese drama "Romance of the West Chamber" took place. The love story of Zhang Sheng and Cui Yingying happened here, which made Pujiu Temple a holy place of love, attracting many tourists to visit.
