Yuncheng Wulaofeng | Known as "Donghua Mountain"

|Known as "Donghua Mountain". Wulaofeng is located in Zhongtiao Mountain Range, 16 km southeast of Yongji City, Shanxi Province, at the Yellow River Golden Triangle where Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Henan provinces meet. It is named after the five elders who taught the emperors the Hetu and Luoshu here in ancient times. Wulaofeng is an early dissemination place of Heluo culture and one of the birthplaces of the Quanzhen School of Taoism in the north. In the 27th volume of the Yunji Qiqian, it is called the "52nd blessed place of Taoism in the world". There is a saying among the people that "in the north, you worship Buddha at Wutai Mountain, and in the south, you ask Taoism at Wulaofeng", "in the north, you visit temples at Wutai Mountain, and in the south, you enjoy the scenery at Wulaofeng", and "Donghua Mountain". Wulaofeng is an excellent natural landscape tourist area and sports fitness place. The main scenic area covers an area of 30 square kilometers, consisting of five main peaks: Yuzhu Peak, Dongjinping Peak, Xijinping Peak, Qipan Peak, and Taiyi Peak. The main peak, Yuzhu Peak, is 1,809.3 meters above sea level. The unique karst geological landform has created many rare wonders: pine waves, sea of clouds, flowing springs, waterfalls, strange peaks, and rocks... There are 9 springs, 12 caves, and 36 peaks in the mountain. At its peak, there were 64 temples and monasteries, which are truly the most beautiful in Shanxi.
