Longxing Temple, Zhengding.

Longxing Temple, also known as the Great Buddha Temple, is one of the earliest, largest, and best-preserved Buddhist temples in China. It is an ancient building and historical monument. Located at 109 Zhongshan East Road, Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, Longxing Temple was built in the sixth year of the Kaihuang era of the Sui Dynasty (AD 586) and covers an area of 82,500 square meters. More than ten halls and pavilions are distributed along the central axis and its sides, creating a magnificent and well-arranged layout. It is a typical example for studying Song Dynasty Buddhist temples. The temple houses a large number of artistic treasures, including sculptures, murals, and steles from the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Six of these cultural relics are considered the best in China, and the temple was praised by Liang Sicheng as the "foremost famous temple outside Beijing." The Dragon Pavilion Garden, with its pavilions and water features, is integrated with the temple buildings, adding to the charm of Longxing Temple.
