Motel di Tallahassee

Let's start with the POSITIVE: when we finally got a ”decent” room, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the hot water was hot, and the A/C worked well. New carpet. The property is conveniently located to numerous eating spots within walking distance and close to a major road through town. Otherwise, this was in the bottom 5 worst stays we've experienced. !. No lobby service. Everything was through a ”night” window, no matter the time of day or the weather. Trying to sign paperwork in a strong wind on the glass of the window is a TERRIBLE way to treat a Choice Motels member!!! 2. Then putting us in a room where, when we walked in, the TV was on, there looked like someone had tracked construction dust all over the carpet, the bed linen was dirty, and the ”non-smoking room” REEKED of smoke odor! 3. Visit #2 to ”the window”: politely moved to a better room (see ”Positives” above), but we used as few of the appliances as possible due to the amount of grunge on everything. (see photos) 4. No TV controller. Trip #3 to ”the window”, where we were politely given a controller and told we could leave it in the room. Great, right? It didn't work! We had to work the TV, high on a wall, by hand. We weren't up to making a 4th trip to ask for fresh batteries or whatever it took to get a working controller. 5. No alarm clock in the room. 6. Coffee and cups, but no coffee maker in the room, and no complimentary coffee service anywhere. 7. No breakfast of any sort offered or mentioned.

When we were displaced due to an angry MOTHER NATURE, we checked in the Red roof inn, in Tallahassee FL. The staff here is absolutely wonderful!! I would like to mention housekeeping in particular, after long days of dealing with our property sometimes you just want to come back to a nice clean room, and that is what we get every single day!! Couple of the housekeepers nicknamed ”uncle and wife” are very efficient, fast and friendly. Recently we've encountered Trace, and what a great individual and worker he is!! Housekeeping, is it very important part of a nice stay. We really appreciate the great workers they have here at the Red roof inn Tallahassee. 😊😊😊😊😊

My experience was quite nice at the four points at Sheraton. Ultimately the prime person of interest that I would like to mention was a woman by the name of Sowsan (trust me I had to ask several times and write it down to remember very unique name). Her energy and work ethic or astounding considering the girl who was there when I first came in I think her name was Michaela or something she was a little bit different very short very curt very rude and didn't really act like she wanted to even be there but who does right it's a job. If I were to rate my experience based on the other girls ”professionalism” Then it would be a pretty bad rating but thank you Sowsan for actually caring about your customers and I hope that girl finds a job she enjoys.

I stayed at this property for one night this past summer, and have since decided that despite a poor experience, the hotel deserved a positive review because of what they did to make things right! I decided to stay in this hotel after a concert at an amusement park in a neighboring state, near the border with Florida, and wanting to get out of that awful state as quickly as possible after the concert. After a terrible day, made only slightly better by seeing my favorite band in concert, I was hoping for a good nights sleep at this property, which unfortunately did not happen according to plan. Unfortunately the neighboring room was quite noisy, and I had to speak with the front desk, so the night auditor could try to call that room to ask them to quiet down. I am assuming I couldn't be moved due to hotel being fully booked, so I appreciated the night auditor doing what she could to try to make my stay better. However, after the neighboring room finally quieted down, and I was able to get a little bit of sleep, I was awoken with a loud sound similar to that of an alarm, coming from that room. I eventually went back to the front desk, and this is where the night auditor, who was still working, did everything they could to make things right. She was able to go back to the room to confirm the noise, attempt to contact the fellow guests, and when it was determined they were no longer in the room, enter the room herself, and then call for help in stopping whatever was causing the loud noise. Being that I was already trying to recover from a bad day, only to have an awful night, one might expect me to leave a completely negative review. However, the staff at this hotel provided me with the best possible service, and even gave me a late checkout and bonus Bonvoy points, to try and make up for an otherwise bad stay, due to issues beyond their control. Overall, I am happy that despite my negative experience, the wonderful people at this hotel did what they could to mitigate the issues with my stay. While I don't expect a perfect stay when staying at a Marriott flagged property, I do expect service that is at least good. At this property, the service was Excellent!

I didn’t write a review when I went shame on me. Let’s say this place had a lasting effect when I think of Tallahassee. I walked in the reception desk, staff was super friendly check in was a breeze, hotel lobby is very chic, not what I expected at all, you take the mirrored elevator to your room, the room itself a bit small but really not here for square footage. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower really nice and as an added bonus can’t forget the roof top bar. The staff was ridiculously patient with me and most of all the best chocolate martini is made here!!!!!!!

Lokasi sangat bagus..Pekerja yang saya berinteraksi adalah luar biasa! Matthew, kerani meja malam adalah sopan, peramah dan suka menolong …wanita muda yang bekerja Meja pagi juga sopan & mesra...Pekerja dengan senyuman dan suka menolong adalah maksud perkhidmatan pelanggan..Bilik bersih, penuh dengan keperluan..malah peralatan kelihatan serba baru. Sebagai seorang wanita yang mengembara sendirian berasa selamat dalam persekitaran saya amat bermakna bagi saya & tempat letak kereta diterangi cahaya di sini.. Pasti akan tinggal di sini lagi..
