Excellent location, walking distance to the Ferry Terminal, the Boats to Weelington, restaurants, bars, attractions and shops. The room is spacious, with a super comfortable bed, air conditioning, room heater, cable tv, fast wi-fi, bathroom with strong shower and amenities. The continental breakfast, is well served with good options, an a la carte menu with spectacular options. I chose the salmon with poached eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and toast. The coffee is freshly prepared of excellent quality. There is a swimming pool. In front of the marina. The team are very friendly, attentive, kind and helpful of my needs in Picton. The manager Mr. Vivek Vaderelu welcomed me and was extremely friendly. Excellent cost x benefit. I recommend.

Stayed 3 nights while exploring the area. Location is really good - about 10 min walk to shops, restaurants, the ferry terminal and visor centre. n it literally across the street from a decent supermarket. On the negative side it is also very close to the railway line - used by slow but heavy freight trains. But they did not disturb us. The room was quite large & comfortable, with a small kitchen area and a decent bathroom. It even had a small balcony, overlooking the street. We arrived by bus, but there was plenty of room for parking.

Off-street parking, clean bathrooms, comfy bed w/ clean sheets, cheerful paint and decor, good space heater, host very friendly and welcoming, nice indoor and outdoor common areas (though chairs/couches looks like they could use a cleaning). Carpet and baseboards in room rather dirty as well. Could just be consequence of weather/season/COVID, but overall the place felt a bit tired and bleak. Several other people staying here, but older and not especially social - almost feels like they live here and I'm intruding (which, fair enough - times have been hard for the tourism industry and locals alike - just FYI depending on your vibe preferences).

Right from the time I booked over the ph to the time I left Nicci the on-site owner was supper helpful and friendly, I arrived early because of my flight so she stored my bag and the cleaners got my room ready asap While they were doing that Nicci told me to help myself to the complementary breakfast that she puts on every morning of cereal peaches toast and spreads. I had a double room with a onsuite that shared with the neighboring room you just locked their door when you used it and unlocked when you left it was a huge shower room. My room had a king size bed T.V mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Piwaka is in a great location at the top of the main st so you are surrounded by cafes shops and there is a great 4 square 2 min walk away...the waterfront is only a 5 min stroll.....I was off to outward bound and Nicci has offered to drop me off with my huge bag she was so helpful,Nicci also booked a day trip for me on the mail boat...a catamaran that delivers the mail through out the Queen Charlotte Sounds ....value for money...4hr boat cruise with amazing info on the sounds we delivered mail and goods to all the resorts and home owners I abslouty loved it!! Pikawa backpackers had every thing to make there guests feel at home games books a comunial lounge and TV comunial kitchen and fridges I even found wine glasses....all in all the price is amazing for what you get and it was great to know as a solo female traveler that Nicci lives here on site..... Wir sind sehr spät im Hotel angekommen und haben ein sehr schönes Zimmer im 3. Stock bekommen. Ein late Check out war möglich. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und sollten wir noch mal dort vorbeikommen, dann würden wir es jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank

Amazing stay. Super friendly staff, easy check-in. Beautiful large 1 bedroom suite. Fantastic set up, large bathroom with large spa bath, shower water pressure was impressive . Very clean and well set out. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a walk in robe with lots of storage. We spent 3 days and loved it. Car parking on the property, located right near the centre of town. Blenheim is a beautiful town with a short drive to the local vineyards and not too far to the inter-island ferry at Picton. Well priced and well worth a return visit. A tick in every box.

We had a Studio apartment with ensuite and own cooking facilities. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was no microwave in the room which was very small with a table and 2 chairs outside on the balcony. We were close to the office and disturbed by guests arriving past 10pm and talking loudly. I was able to use the microwave in the shared kitchen. We did not think it was good value for the money when compared to other places we stayed at. However we were well located to catch the early morning ferry across to Wellington which was a priority. Next time I wd stay a little further out and catch a later ferry. We got much better value accommodation in Wellington.

Menginap selama satu malam dan secara keseluruhan ia agak selesa. Walaupun ia tidak berada di pusat bandar, ia hanya sepuluh minit berjalan kaki dari stesen antara bandar dan stesen kereta api, dan beberapa minit berjalan kaki adalah kawasan komersial. Jika anda tidak mempunyai banyak bagasi, anda boleh berjalan ke sana. Dapur boleh digunakan untuk memasak dan sangat bersih. While a littled dated, my room was very clean and comfortable. There are some nice eateries with walking distance. Jacqueline is warm and welcoming. I managed to leave my smart watch behind and didn't realise until I was in Christchurch. She very kindly posted it to me, for which was very grateful.

Stayed here for just one night. As it was Sunday the restaurant was closed so we had to venture out in the wind and rain to find some food. Room itself was comfortable and quite large. Hotel is situated on the waterfront beside the yacht club and has some lovely views. It’s only a short walk into to main part of Picton. Be aware if you arrive by train, Picton doesn’t have a taxi service. You will need to source a shuttle if you aren’t within walking distance of the station or ferry terminal. Also the ferry terminal is undergoing a major refurbishment and they have a new temporary terminal and you catch a bus to the ship thru the worksite.

What can we say about Top of The Town without sounding like Tracee paid us to say it?! (We promise.. she didn’t) We first stayed back in June. We’re only from Nelson and we just wanted to get away for a weekend break with our gorgeous wee dog. Top of The Town popped up as accepting pets so we immediately made a booking.. We will never bother to venture anywhere else accomodation wise when coming over to Picton - we’re both so chuffed with this place. We just stayed again in October. We hadn’t made any plans for the long weekend - we’d saved Tracee’s number in our phone from our last trip, called her up and she remembered us immediately - “I’ve got room, get yourselves over! Lovely to hear from you both, come over anytime just flick me a text when you’re near! See you soon!” - it’s like popping over to your Aunty’s house to hang out for the weekend. The best sleep we’ve had in months - 10/10 for the bed comfort and linen to die for Amazing shower pressure Real good quality towels Cleanliness unfaultable (is that a word? basically the room looks like it’s been cleaned inch by inch by ‘Our Trace’ with a toothbrush) Long story short - whether you have a pooch or not, this place is a great safe choice for quality accommodation at an extremely affordable price. I promise you, you will not find anything wrong with Top of The Town and they are a gorgeous couple that really make you feel welcome. We love having Tracee’s number saved in our phone - now whenever we have a free weekend with no plans, we know we can just give her a ring and pop over for a couple of nights - knowing our dog is 1000% welcome and knowing how lovely their place is, it’s just so convenient. Great place to stay - very clean and well presented, with very friendly staff. Walking distance to London Quay, the main street, supermarket and the RSA is right next door- great evening meal. Our room was a good size with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over it. A rubber mat is provided for safety which was most appreciated. The heated towel rail held 2 towels easily. Bed and linen all very good We could look out over the harbour and into Queen Charlotte Sound. Off street parking,free wifi.

Great place to stay. Very quiet comfortable rooms, had good sleeps. Great kitchenette and bathroom. Great stay allround.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. The manager/owner, Judy was so friendly and just a wonderful person to chat with. The room was large and well laid out. Extremely well appointed to suit travelers needs. Great kitchen area, bathroom, large bed, dining table and lounge chairs. Room also had Netflix. It's a smaller motel and you get a distinct feeling the owners are proud of it and go above and beyond to look after both the property and the guests. Great to see a property that offers and promotes easy self recycling options adjacent to the main office. Only a 2 minute walk to the centre of Blenheim which has plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Supermarket also a very short walk.

Very close and within easy reach of the the major supermarkets and some very good restaurants.

We were looking for accommodation to break our trip south that would allow our dog to stay. I found the Phoenix Motor Inn online and am very pleased I did. Reservation was easy, stress free and reasonably priced taking into account the additional cleaning required. The unit was modern , bright and very clean. Good facilities within the unit , a laundry (which I used) and a small pool (which we didn’t use) however, it looked lovely. While close to a busy road it was very quiet. Supermarket, service station and restaurants within walking distance. Overall I would definitely recommend this Motor Inn.

Comfortable place to relax. Had everything we needed with a corner spa bath - just the ticket! Lovely atmosphere and quiet. Very accomodating with information on supermarkets etc An easy walk to a Thai restaurant & town. lots of room to park and navugate around. Good size washing machines & driers for customer use which is handy. I would definitely stay here again.

First of all Motel is spotless with great interior, Full bottles shampoo, conditioner and body wash not just one use option, lollies in a jar, many channels on TV, close to town, Very accommodating staff, But icing on cake they let a staff member leave a vehicle at the motel for a whole month as we couldn’t get it on the ferry. I arrive to finally pick up van and catch ferry and they had made sure the started it often so battery wouldn’t be flat. We always use this motel for our business but this is the first time I personally have stayed , I was blown away, Thanks Aston Court

The place is actually made of several villas which are huge and with great views of a vineyard and mountains. Accommodations are two stories; ours had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a full kitchen. The bed was quite comfortable and the linens/towels were of good quality. There was also a jacuzzi in the master bath which I loved. I would say that the cleanliness could have been better; we found a broiler tray in a kitchen cabinet that was filthy and full of grease. Yuck. It was hot the first day we were there. There is adequate AC on the first floor but nothing but fans on the second floor so we were very uncomfortable sleeping that night. Also, be aware that there is NO restaurant or food available on site. They do sell bottles of wine. Not the best place for people traveling without a car. The receptionist was not very helpful or friendly. Overall, just average.
