We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. In general, the hotel is very ”tired”, something was obviously broken, barely alive faucets. In general, it does not pull on 5 stars. But! Breakfast on January 01 was excellent. Even with champagne. Excellent stay at Prima Luce. The room was very clean and very comfortable, the Air Conditioning was excellent. Note that on certain nights, there is a nightclub in the same building which does tend to make some noise as you can hear a bit of the thumping of the music. The location was amazing as you are right beside the old Roman walls, restaurants, bars, nightlife, shopping and very close to the beautiful ”Riva” marina. Had a great stay in Marvie. Excellent service from the staff, who were always friendly and helpful. Location is great - a 15-20 minute walk to the centre. The hotel is in an incredible location, at an incredible price. The room and building were very clean with great facilities, though some of the room furniture, like the desk chair, could use a bit of a refurbishment. This however for most travelers will be no issue as you will want to be out and about exploring the city and using the room as just a home base. I will absolutely come and stay again, and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Split and my stay at Slavija.
