Jiucai Mountain

Jiucai Ridge is located in Dupang Ridge Nature Reserve. It is called K2 of Hunan because of its high climbing intensity and difficulty, with an altitude of 2009.3 meters. There are wild leeks on the mountain, and there is a basin of 3 square kilometers surrounded by alpine virgin forests at the west foot of the mountain, with lush green grass and clear water in the middle. This is Qianjiadong. Jiucai Ridge was once selected as one of the "Top Ten Unknown Mountains in China" by National Geographic, and it is also a place where many outdoor mountaineering and hiking enthusiasts are willing to challenge. The classic mountaineering route is: Dajiangyuan Village - Forty-eight Steps - Zhushanping - Quirky Chong - Qianjiadong - Chive Ridge - Forest Farm. You can also go up the mountain from Dupangling Forest Farm in Guanyang, Guangxi, and leave from Dajiangyuan Village, Daoxian County, Hunan Province. It takes about 3 days. The road is full of uninhabited forests, which is very difficult. There are unique canyons, peaks and forests, strange rocks, cliffs, streams, waterfalls and ancient trees in the mountains, and the scenery is very beautiful. Yellow-bellied pheasants, macaques, flying tigers, pangolins, tiger frogs, tits, golden pheasants and other precious animals appear in the forest from time to time.
