Longyan Temple of Meizhou

Longyan Temple is located in Yanqian Township, Longwen Town, 70 kilometers away from Meicheng. The temple is built in a natural cave - Longya Cave, so it is also called "Longya Temple". According to legend, it was built by an eminent monk in the early Wanli year of Ming Dynasty. 400 years ago. The cave is about 12 meters high, 20 meters wide and 50 meters deep. Walking into the cave, you will be greeted by a Buddhist temple. In the middle are the "Three Treasures Buddha" and various Buddha statues; the rock walls on both sides, according to the shape of the height, sculpt Guanyin Xingtian and eighteen Arhats, with different expressions and lifelikeness.
