Ying'en Building

Ying'enlou is the west gate of Shanhaiguan. It is an important gateway to Jingyu Road and is an important gateway to Shanhaiguan. It still looks very spectacular. 迎恩楼为山海关古城之西门，与“天下第一关”匾额的镇东楼相对，因为古城西门是朝向京城，所有皇帝赏赐的钱粮物资都是从这个方向的城门进来，故楼名为“迎恩”，即迎接皇帝恩赐的意思。游客中心售票点也主要在这个城门进口处。城楼上一楼可进去参观，二楼封闭，一楼有些古时皇帝恩赐的酒坛、刀剑还有黄龙旗等陈列品，也有历代皇帝莅临的介绍，向楼下看，可以看到内城景象。进此城门就是承恩驿，为京城来的使臣休憩饮马所用。此处有乾隆皇帝及随从的雕塑，也有古城游览车的等车点。

迎恩楼位于山海关西门，始建于明洪武十五年，与“天下第一关”的镇东楼相对。曾是明代驿道、清代御道及明清时期的贡道，“迎恩”是迎接皇帝恩泽之意。公元1744年，清乾隆皇帝到此登楼并御书赐额“祥蔼搏桑”。
