Zhejiang Huayan National Forest Park is located in the west of Ruian City, on the north side of the Feiyun River. It is an important part of the Zhaiyanxi Scenic Area in Ruian City. It is located between Wenzhou and Baizhangyu-Feiyun Lake National Scenic Area and has convenient transportation. The Huayan National Forest Park was established in November 1991 and in November 2002, it was promoted to the National Forest Park with the approval of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration (formerly the State Forestry Administration). The forest park consists of six forest areas such as Huayan, Wuyun Mountain, Xinjian, Dayukeng, Xiaokeng, Laolonggang, and other forests. The planned area is 2640 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is more than 95%. The highest peak is Wuyun Mountain, with an altitude of 1026.6 meters. Zhejiang Huayan National Forest Park is rich in forest resources, providing a good environment for wildlife habitat and reproduction. In the dense forest cliffs of Huayan Forest Park, a group of cute animal spirits macaques jumping, the number is more than 100, is the largest wild macaque group in Wenzhou.
