When you come to Shantou, besides the delicious food, these attractions are really worth checking out, and the old town of Nan'ao Island welcomes you~ 1. Nan'ao Island The landscape of Nan'ao Island is naturally beautiful. Due to less development, the environment is well protected, and many mountains, rocks, and vegetation still retain their original appearance. The beach scenery is also very beautiful, making it a niche spot for taking photos. In addition, there are some historical relics on the island that you can visit in your spare time. 2. Shantou Old Town In the old town area on the north bank of the Rong River in Shantou City, from the Shantou Xidi Wharf to the Waimalu entrance, a 1-kilometer road is lined with a large number of buildings constructed in the early 20th century. This is Shantou Old Town. The 'arcades' on the side of the road for sheltering from the rain, the closely arranged shops, the slightly messy streets, and the simple decorative patterns near the doors and windows all reveal the unique historical charm of Shantou Old Town. 3. Que Shi Scenic Area The Que Shi Scenic Area is located on the bank of the Rong River. The area is filled with peculiar peaks and rocks, accompanied by the charm of the sea view, forming a scenic spot where Shantou's natural scenery and cultural landscape complement each other. The scenic area is divided into six areas: Xiao Shi Scenic Area, Ta Mountain Scenic Area, Yan Peak Scenic Area, Xianglu Mountain Scenic Area, Bijia Mountain Scenic Area, and Su'an Scenic Area.

Visiting Shantou, we took the high-speed train from Shanghai, which was very convenient. This time we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Shantou Chaoyang, where the environment and services were all very satisfactory. The old town of Shantou is definitely worth a visit, with its ancient architecture and a variety of delicious food, it truly made me feel reluctant to leave.
