Huizhou Mansion

The Huizhou government office is located at No. 120, Zhonghe Street, Huicheng Town, She County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. It is the seat of the ancient Huizhou government. It began in the third year of Xuanhe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1121) when Shezhou was changed to Huizhou. It was originally the Huizhou government, and was rebuilt during the Shaoxi to Duanping years. In the Yuan Dynasty, it was the Huizhou Road government, and was rebuilt again during the Zhizheng period. In the early Ming Dynasty, it was successively changed to the Executive Privy Council and the Command and Envoy Office, and the government was located on the site of the former Experience Office to its west. In the third year of Hongwu (1370), it was restored to the Huizhou government. It was rebuilt during the Zhengtong, Hongzhi, and Chongzhen periods of the Ming Dynasty, and during the Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, and Daoguang periods of the Qing Dynasty. The original main buildings included the watchtower, the ceremonial gate, the main hall, the back hall, and the prefectural residence. After 1949, it was used as the She County government. In the 1980s, due to the construction of a new county government building, most of the buildings except the watchtower and the back hall were demolished. Since April 2009, the She County government has invested 200 million yuan to rebuild the palace on the original site, referring to the map of the government office in the Huizhou Prefecture Records of the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty. The total area is 2.4 hectares, with a construction area of ​​9,800 square meters. It was officially opened to the public in November 2012. The restored building units refer to the existing architectural remains of the mid-Ming Dynasty in She County, and adopt the small-scale practices of the Ming Dynasty, such as Huizhou winter melon beams, inserted arches, and through-beam hall structures, and the interior is built on the Ming Dynasty. The colors refer to the Ming Hui Dian, "the beams, eaves, and rafters are painted with green and green", and "the doors are painted with black oil".
