Spring Lin

From Qufu, along the 327 National Road eastward for 50 kilometers, you will arrive at the Quanlinquanqun Scenic Spot in Sishui County. It is on the same tourist route as Jinan and Qufu, and is known as "China's Spring Township" by tourism planning experts. Quanlin, the source of the Sihe River, is named after the gathering of famous springs, and the springs are as numerous as forests, and they are also famous all over the world. According to the Guangxu "Sishui County Chronicle" in the Qing Dynasty, there are 72 famous springs in the group, dozens of large springs, and as many small springs as the hair of a cow. Now, on the side of Peiwei Mountain, there are black tigers, Baotu, pearls, red stones, Shuangqing, Taomi, and many other spring beads combined with stars, spewing snow and jade, or out of Shidou, or hidden in the sand, or for Shallow ground, or a deep pool; the spring is as big as a tiger's mouth, and the spring is as small as a bean. The waves are turbulent, like a formation of flowing smoke; Five steps into a stream, a hundred steps into a river. From the ancient times to the present, there has been a continuous flow of water, converging into a giant stream into the Si River. The spring water gushing beads and spraying jade, crystal clear. The algae in the spring are as green as a comb, floating with the waves, like paintings and woven fabrics. The picturesque Spring Forest has attracted many sages, sages, literati, and emperors to bow to it. As early as in the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius sighed here that "the dead are like savages! Don't give up day and night"; the Northern Wei geographer Li Daoyuan praised it as "the famous river of Haidai"; Shandong Tongzhi even called it "the crown of all springs in Shandong". In the winter of 1684, Emperor Kangxi visited Fangyue in the province, visited Daizong, worshipped Confucian saints, and then went to Quanlin; he watched the springs, climbed to the tail, and praised Quanlin as "the source of springs, where holy relics exist". Emperor Qianlong had a special liking for Quanlin, and he stayed there nine times successively, leaving more than 190 poems and essays praising Quanlin, and more than 200 poems and essays praised by literati of all dynasties. Quanlin Quanqun was developed earlier, as far away as the Northern Wei Dynasty and Northern Qi Dynasty, there was a "Yuanquan Temple" on the west side of Peiwei Mountain, which was rebuilt and renamed "Quanlin Temple" in the Tang Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, the Ministry of Water Office was set up in Quanlin, and three squares were built and six pavilions were built. In the Qing Dynasty, due to the visit of Kangxi and Qianlong, the renovation was carried out every year. There are a total of 114 rooms, and it is famous for the "Eight Views of the Palace".
