Hongchiba National Forest Park

Chongqing Wuxi Hongchiba National Forest Park is located in Wuxi County, Chongqing City, 440km away from the main city of Chongqing, 200km away from Wanzhou, and 84km away from the county seat. The park is endowed with unique ecological resources and human resources. The total area of forest and grassland is 253.8 square kilometers, including the sea of flowers in the clouds, Tianzicheng grassland, Xiliuxi, Tuancheng and other areas. The altitude of the park is between 1800m and 2800m. The total area covered by forest and grassland is about 362,000 mu. It is as high as 2000/cm3 or more. There is a lot of rain and fog in Hongchiba, and it is often difficult to distinguish between rain and fog. On the rainy morning of spring and autumn, the grassland is filled with thick fog, and it is difficult to distinguish people three or five steps away. But if you go to the top of the mountain, you will find that above the sea of dense fog and clouds is the beautiful sun and blue sky. The Yunzhong Huahai Scenic Area consists of a 1,500-mu framed flower area, a 3,000-mu flower-decorated lawn area, a 3,000-mu sparse forest and meadow flower area, a 2,500-mu organic ecological agriculture flower sea sightseeing area, and a leisure, living and entertainment area. The journey of the sea of flowers in the cloud is about 13.5 kilometers. There are 7 scenic spots such as the shadow of flowers and trees, colorful ribbons, colorful brocade terraces, and splendid flower street. There are more than 50 kinds of alpine flowers such as black heart chrysanthemum, calendula, aster, and celestial chrysanthemum, and the flowering period is from May to October.
