Yong'an Museum

The museum is located in the Dacheng Hall of the Confucian Temple in Datong Road, Yong'an City, and Building 5 on the right. The Confucian Temple is a Ming Dynasty building, built in Ming Jingtai three years (1452), rebuilt in 15 years (1502), and rebuilt many times after re-renovation, and re-renovated in 1985. The Dacheng Palace is three spacious rooms, four deep rooms, with an area of 307 square meters. The wooden structure of the temple system is beamed, brick walls, and the top of the mountain is heavy. The wooden decorations between the heavy rafts are Ruyi Dou arch and elephant nose, and the ceiling of the temple is painted with colorful clouds. The wooden partition doors and stone pillars are made of bucket arches for the pick and steal. The pillar is a drum mirror, carved with dragon and Ruyi cloud. There is a base in front of the hall, and there are stone carvings three-dimensional front dragons between the two steps. The Confucian Temple building is now the historical cultural relics exhibition hall of the Yong'an Museum. Building 5 is a 50s building, a bungalow, an area of 246 square meters, was rebuilt in 1990. The original brick is made of old city wall brick, large and thick, the building roof is high, the front door and window shape is semi-circle, and it is decorated with flowers. Building 5 is now the office of the museum, the cultural relics warehouse, the duty room, the "Yongan Progressive Cultural Activity Showroom during the Anti-Japanese War" and so on.

The Yong'an Museum is built next to the Confucian Temple. It has a Yong'an History and Culture Exhibition Hall and a Yong'an Progressive Culture Exhibition Room during the Anti-Japanese War. The collection has nearly 400 pieces, which have a strong historical and cultural significance.

The museum is not bad, you can go over for weekend leisure and learn about the local history and culture.
