Colombo

Colombo is the capital of Sri Lanka and is known as the “Crossroads of the Orient.” It is a typical coastal city of Southeast Asia, with a charming seaside landscape and towering skyscrapers, as well as resplendent temple halls. The romantic and leisurely atmosphere gives Colombo its special enchanting character. Colombo's National Museum and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall are both symbolic locations worth visiting. You can also depart from the railway station at the Colombo Fortress and experience the feel of a seaside train like in the film “Spirited Away.”
