My stay in this hotel is rather mixed. When I checked-in, the staff who admitted she was new to the hotel had difficulty understanding and speaking in English. I asked where the aircon swtich is but she could not comprehend and dont know what I meant. When I went back after dinner, another staff was manning the reception and told me there is no aircon turned on. I have to open my windows. However since my room is located at the back and in front of parking, I can hear the cars parking, even if they assign a room at the other side, it is still noisy with windows open. Was not able to sleep due to noise outside. The room looks like a hostel, quite old, smells woody. The mattress spring seems like giving up. The water pressure at the bathroom is weak, will take some time to finish shower. The room is not well lighted up well, bit dim. And I also read that the park in front was a former cemetery. In terms of location, it is quite a walk to old town (20minutes or more), have to take a bus. The reason I gave 2 not 1 star is because of its affordable price and a good breakfast. If I would stay again at Klaipeda I would not stay here, maybe Ill add a few bucks for more comfort,
National Hotel

We enjoyed staying at this small hotel. The rooms were very well done and we were most comfortable. The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant. The warm ambiance accented the excellent duck breast that we ordered. One of the best parts of the hotel is its location. Right off the central square, there is very good shopping nearby. Also, the river and its parks are about a block away. This is a great spot for a getaway.
Amberton Hotel Klaipeda

Awful place. I have lived in Klaipeda all my life and I have never imagined that this ”hotel” in the heart of my city can be such a disgrace. I feel sorry for the tourists visiting Klaipeda for such a bad representation. The only good thing this hotel can offer is a nice view through the window - that's it! Our room was not properly ventilated - the AC was only blowing hot air while the window was broken and wouldn't open. The room was boiling! When we raised this with one of the staff members - we were told nothing can be done about this, the hotel is all booked-out, but a manager will address this issue on our check-out. Manager just stared at us at the checkout and said the same thing - nothing can be done about this. ”Good luck next time” - I guess that's the hotel's slogan. We asked the towels to be changed in the morning - not done. Only after ringing the reception for the second time they brought new set of towels. Carpets - stained. Bathroom - outdated. Breakfast - very dull. Most of the hot dishes were barely warm. No proper coffee served at the breakfast. We went to the hotel's bar to order some normal coffee and were overcharged - we paid 7 Eur one day and then 10 Eur the next day for the same coffees. The bartender who overcharged us just kept repeating like a broken record after we complained - ”this is what it costs”. Again, during check-out manager declared it is impossible we had a problem with such a good bartender. She also offered us to go and talk to the same bartender just to clarify the price AGAIN. After we were not happy with this, she promised another hotel-person will contact us to discuss this matter after we leave - it has been a week I have not heard from anyone. And I never will. Just to add a cherry on top - the hotel has only one elevator which takes you to a multi-storied carpark. We had two big suitcases (plus full hands of other stuff) and our car was on the 4th floor. Th elevator was not working. We asked the receptionist about this - he then pressed the elevator button three-to-four times, stared at his phone, said the elevator is probably not working and then just walked off. In Amberton you're not treated as a guest, you're treated as another daily nuisance.

Hotel posiada 3 gwiazdki i w sumie na pewno więcej otrzymać nie powinien. Nie był zły, ale na pewno więcej do niego się nie wybierzemy. Plusy: lokalizacja - ok 300 m do głównego rynku starego miasta z restauracjami i knajpami. Około 40 minut spacerkiem do portu, natomiast bardzo daleko do plaży. Bardzo dużym plusem jest czystość: bardzo porządne i dobre sprzątanie, codzienne odkurzanie, czuć chlor i środki czystości w łazience, pod tym względem wielki plus. Minusy: szopki totalne z parkingiem. Najpierw piszą, że jest bezpłatny, potem na ulotkach skreślają to długopisem. W efekcie niby jest bezpłatny ale jest tylko 10 miejsc przed hotelem wiecznie zajętych. Na tyłach hotelu też są, ale nie można tam parkować i grozi mandat. Tak więc dramat z parkowaniem i nie piszmy o bezpłatnym parkingu na tyle gości hotelowych, którzy zatrzymują się w wakacje w tym hotelu.... Okolica hotelu średnia - z jednej strony bok muzeum browaru, z drugiej obdrapany i zapuszczony blok mieszkalny. Pokoje czyste, ale łazienki to jakiś komunistyczny dramat z prysznicem bez możliwości regulacji. W naszym pokoju brak możliwości otwierania okien, bo często padał deszcz i leciał od razu na łózka i pościel. Śniadania: po pierwsze bardzo bardzo skromne, po drugie restauracja hotelowa tak malutka, że ludzie albo stali w kolejce albo musieli siadać na zimnie na tarasie i się tam gnieździć. W sali głównej tylko 4 stoliki na cały hotel gości w godzinach oczywiście 8:00-10:00. Nawet recepcja ponura i na tyle powolna, że często tworzyły się kolejki do zameldowania. Ogólnie uważam, że hotel sam w sobie nie jest zły, ale zdecydowania nie za taką cenę, którą trzeba za niego zapłacić. Cena jest kompletnie nieadekwatna do jakości i tym zdaniem zakończę swój opis.
Green Park Hotel Klaipeda

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is modern. The rooms are clean and modern but basic with no frills. The shower temperature was incredibly variable - it would literally go from very hot to very cold and back again without anything being touched. We all experienced this issue! The rooms were very stuffy but being on a main road the windows couldn’t be left open overnight; no air con and a fan but it was very noisy. We asked for more pillows and were rudely told “No. The hotel is full. There are no pillows” with no hint of a “sorry”. The breakfasts were pretty typical for this part of Europe and perfectly ok. The location is good if you want the ferry terminal but bad for the centre of Klaipeda, being around 2.5-3km away along the main road which is not in the slightest bit interesting.
