Villa di Puerto Princesa

This is supposedly the only 5 star resort in the area which is sad as I think competition might actually inspire them to do better. The place itself is very nice and initial impressions are quite excellent. But the longer we stayed the more we noticed the lack of upkeep in the rooms. The size of the bathroom is big but there is not a single electrical outlet inside so you cannot plug in anything not even the hairdryer. The shower glass door does not close shut and with the very strong water pressure you can be assured of a very wet overflowing floor outside of the shower enclosure. We paid for 2 extra persons in the room which they informed us meant sharing the beds and breakfast inclusive but they don’t automatically provide the extra towels. Even after calling them to request for more towels they still took more than 2 days to give us our extra towels. The water in the pool is quite warm and not refreshing as the heat of the sun kept it quite warm but some of our friends actually liked it that way so it’s more of a personal preference. The drying rack in the balcony is a nice touch as we can dry our swim clothes there. There are also water dispensers in the hallway which is great for refilling the complimentary glass bottles of water provided. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rates but don’t expect anything extraordinary. The Italian restaurant in the resort does not seem to be ready for the tourist influx as food came out ever so slowly and we felt bad for the foreign tourists who don’t complain as much as the locals so we did get our food faster than they did. The resort is expanding so there is construction ongoing which is a positive sign of tourist revival in PP which I’m happy about for them but I wish they would also pay closer attention to the upkeep of the existing rooms.

First of all, let me start by saying how much we LOVED our stay. The location is absolutely stunning, and we had an amazing stay. First and foremost, I want to thank to all the staffs esp to Aj ( who made our stay extra special. The food for me was exceptional, they had a wide variety of cuisines, and I was there for 2 nights and didn't have a bad meal while I was there. I felt the food price was very reasonable given the location, service and quality Astoria set the bar incredibly high and for someone who considers themselves to have a vacation I would highly recommend this place.

Trip started with Kuya Darwin, one of their very friendly and competent drivers. Super near and accessible to nearby tours that you can book at the front desk. Our room was quite modern with a spacious and comfortable bed, with just the right amount of pillows! Food and drinks were a highlight being very affordable with great serving sizes! Overall great stay with all the amenities you need.

This is our first trip in Palawan with family. We stayed here for three days and two nights. The location is too far from the city we always rent a tricycle which cost 100 pesos one way and maximum of 4 passengers but we had a beautiful stay here. The rooms are affordable and very clean. We had a free breakfast and this was well presented and plenty of choice. The people are very kind and friendly.

Parfait pour une nuit en transit . Confortable, bon accueil . En fait c est un jardin dans lequel le propriétaire à construit quelques bungalow . En sortant de l hotel et en remontant vers la rue principale il y a un restaurant coréen : je le recommande :Kang Nam Petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse . Le propriétaire nous a réservé un van pour Port Barton et ils sont venus nous chercher à l hotel .

When we arrived the hotel gave us the welcome drinks and its refreshing. At 1st the hotel give a wrong room which the room has already occupied but after that they gave a room with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed our stay in aziza. So convenient and tuk tuk just infront of the hotel. Easy to go anywhere.

We are very grateful to find this place in the heart of the city. While Palawan is already a bustling archipelago, Hibiscus Garden Inn is a rare gem for a peaceful and relaxing experience - it is very ideal for families like us who are looking for a spot to rest and slow down. The manager and staff took really good care of us. They were willing to accept us even in the middle of the night. And it's a pleasant surprise to arrive in a well-designed, clean, comfortable, and spacious room like theirs. Our family loved waking up in the morning to enjoy our hearty breakfast which is readily available in their restaurant - mind you, they have a full menu of local and International cuisine. All in all, I would say that my family would definitely come back at Hibiscus whenever we come again to Puerto Princesa City as it already been a home to us even for just 5 nights of staying.
