Great stay, nice staff! Walkable to gorgeous beaches and the town of Portimaõ. Comfy beds, clean apartments. Could do with a bit more shelving in the bathroom (even a small chair under the sink would do) and some hooks here and there, but otherwise perfect.

This place is fantastic for relaxing in the sun at the beach across the street or the pool. The rooms have plenty of room and are nicely appointed. We had a nice view of the Atlantic in the distance and the pool. Breakfast on the terrace was tasty, filling and so scenic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a welcome drink and pateis de nata was a nice touch. There was an honor bar in the room, but no free water. They did share some carob treats which is a specialty in the area, but as a chocolate lover, I did not enjoy them. It was nice of them to offer though. The clientele was all couples and it was very quiet and peaceful. I had considered a larger resort before booking, but am so glad we booked here. I’d be back in a heart beat! The beach is easy to walk to and so beautiful. What a treat to get a couple of loungers for the day and relax and enjoy the water and sun. I couldn’t ask for a better setting or place to relax in. It was close to drive into Carvoeiro for a fantastic selection of restaurants.

Villa Praia Grande is a beautiful 5 bedroom house, in a fabulous location just 150m from the beach and a little further to shops and restaurants.It's a modern family house in Ferragudo, with wonderful sea views. Ibiza style, elegance and sophistication are all in abundance in this holiday villa.Its just few steps away from the beach (150 m to Praia Grande), and Ferragudo is only 15 minutes walking from the house. Restaurants or bars won't be hard to find, at Praia Grande or along the fisherman's harbor, in Ferragudo (famed for its fish and seafood restaurants). Once you cross the bridge you'll be in PortimaÌo, but you can also take a Taxi Boat at Ferragudo harbor, which will leave you on the other side of the river. Carvoeiro is also a very nice option just 3km away.The villa is equipped with a spacious living room and dining area, a modern open kitchen and 5 bedrooms, which can accommodate a maximum of 10 adults and one child (extra charge for 11th person). Every bedroom has its own private bathroom. The house is surrounded by different areas.A lounge corner equipped with an attractive bar and outdoor fireplace, a BBQ by the kitchen, and a large deck in the facade: the perfect place to have breakfast under the palms, with the Atlantic Ocean just in front of you. On the opposite side of the Villa you'll find the swimming pool, an outdoor shower and a deck area. There you can relax and take in those great views on one of the sun beds. The rooftop is definitely a must in the villa too - get ready to witness the most beautiful sunsets! Internet connection and a Sonos-sound installation are available for our guests.Even if the temperatures are quite smooth in Algarve, the house is very well isolated and has floor heating (except in the bedrooms). In the living room, you will find a big flat screen and a stove, for that extra comfort. This was our second visit to the hotel. The facility is perfect. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. A special shout-out is deserved here to Eugenia in the pool bar who cannot do enough to serve you and will tirelessly take pictures as required. Every member of staff is so professional and engaging. Pool is a good size, plus a children's pool— plenty of sun beds with shade. Our room was a one-bed poolside apartment with a small functional kitchenette facility (2 ring hob, sink and full-size fridge). The bathroom and shower are huge. Maid service every day. Breakfast was good and can be taken outside on the patio. We didn't try the restaurant in the evening although the menu looked good (emphasis on meat) and seemed reasonably priced. Walking distance (10 mins) the ”secret” beaches at melho and pintadinho. Walk to Ferragudo town square, which is 20 minutes. A return Uber is approx 5-6 euros. There is complimentary car parking beneath and on the side of the complex. Am already arranging a return next year.
