Let me say the location is in a good area, not to far from Glen Ivy so it was nice, however the service there was beyond poor. We arrive well after check in, 5pm. to be exact. Upon checking in, they advised they needed an extra 15 mins to finish up, which was ok by me. They also advised they would have all the necessary things I needed such as the bedding for the pull out couch since we had 5 people in the suite, extra towels (since 2 would not cut it for 5 people). I understood since everyone is trying to work with what staff they have due to the shortage. I left to go grab a bite with my group, we were gone a little over and hour and still nothing from the hotel, finally it's ready. We go get the keys after a long day and the room is nice spacious and what we could tell clean. We all need a shower from our long day so we see only a few towels, we call the front desk, no answer. We call housekeeping, now answer. I tried for over 10 mins. I called from my cell to the main hotel number and Is got thru. I asked if they could bring 5 more towels up and the person (male) at the front desk rudely said ”oh you can come get them down here”. I said since we just got into our room and waited over 3 hours to get in, please bring them up. We all waited about 30 mins, we understand it wasn't going to be instant but in a reasonable amount of time, and still nothing. We finally had to go down stairs to get them and when asked if we can have the towels (2 of the ladies in our group) the man at the front desk again was rude to them and said “here”. Now I know customers service is hectic and can be stressful, however the hotel needs to put that happy face on and show some respect and consideration after all I didn’t request any thing more than my room when I was told 3 hours later my room wasn’t ready. Now here comes the kicker, we are all ready for bed after our showers, we look for the bedding for the pull and yet again the wonderful staff didn't leave in the room. I had enough, I went down stairs to discuss with the staff and found out the gentleman’s name (Kolby, Colby, Colbey) is the rude person at the front desk and on the phone and the lady was apologetic. However, this is just to much for me to deal with when you go away from the hectic days of everyday life. I hope you all see this post and make yourself aware of the hotel and I certainly wrote to the manager and corporate.

Sangat bersih dan selesa. Bilik berat dan kolam ditutup kerana COVID, maka 4 bintang di Fasiliti. Jika tidak, cukup gembira dengan penginapan satu malam saya.

The last day i was there, unwelcome people came in property and front office had to have them removed. Seemed like an altercation was about to take place, thank God I was leaving.

Kakitangannya ramah dan membantu. Satu-satunya kelemahan perjalanan kami adalah bau kumbahan yang kuat di luar hotel, di pintu masuk. Ia sentiasa ada setiap kali kami mengakses bangunan itu. Bau lain di tingkat dua adalah seperti rentetan tetapi tidak menyinggung, seperti cuka berhampiran bilik # 210-220. Anak perempuan saya fikir ia berbau seperti pejabat doktor gigi. Diketepikan baunya, dewan bercahaya terang dan bersih dengan petikan inspirasi di setiap pintu. Sarapan kontinental dihidangkan setiap hari dan kolam renang dibuka, walaupun kami terlalu sibuk untuk menikmatinya. Bilik kecergasannya masih ditutup kerana wabak itu. Kami akan tinggal di sini sekali lagi berdasarkan kemudahan di atas/di luar lebuh raya 91. Katil tidak mewah tetapi tidak mengerikan. Mereka boleh diperbaiki dengan topper busa memori.

I am a Lifetime Marriott member and I've stayed in Marriott's all over the world. The Residence Inn is not a ”full service” property. However, this RI is not up to par for some of the other properties in the same category. The personnel I encountered were all very kind and pleasant. But that's really the only compliment I can give (other than the GREAT water pressure). This Residence Inn has completely stopped their ”social hour” in the evening with any type of food/snacks/drinks during the week (what RI is associated with and has been for YEARS). They say it was Covid. But what about the popcorn in the basket? No more popcorn in the rooms and this was undoubtedly stopped due to the cost. How much can a bag of popcorn cost--especially when you stop the evening ”social hour”? They are really cutting back here and it shows. No laundry bag in the room, the dish soap has been so watered down that I don't even think it will get soapy. No extra paper towels below the sink--I ran out the 2nd day so they knew there were very few towels when they cleaned the room from the last guest. The carpets were very dirty. In the hall, stairs, lobby--I don't think any of the carpets have been vacuumed in weeks and it shows. The breakfast was one of the worst--especially for a RI. No fruit on the days I was there and the oatmeal looks like it was from last week. The ”scones” were so dry that it wasn't even worth the calories. I guess for a family feeding children, the waffle maker would be the winner here but for an adult, hard pass on the ”breakfast.” There was some yogurt and a few toppings to put on the yogurt. Some scrambled eggs and sausage. They did have hard boiled eggs too. This RI needs some serious TLC.
