Air conditioning was not working throughout our stay. Requested a fan several times kept being told none were available. Saw an employee taking a fan upto a room but we were still told none available. Upon requesting a compensation for the trouble we went through a fan miraculously appeared when it was almost time to check out

The staff at the Westcliff have made this entire experience truly remarkable. From Reception all the way to the staff at the spa, every member of staff made this stay and our wedding something so special. The food was also absolutely delicious and everything we ate was amazing! to make a special note about Kevern, from the moment we sent our first email he has gone above and beyond to not only make us feel welcome but to ensure every step of our wedding journey went perfectly. He ensured that every milestone was an event in itself and we feel like he is the main reason why we had such an incredible day. He was controlling everything in the background so that we weren't stressed about anything which we appreciated so much. He also made sure that we got our alone time together on our wedding day in the rush of everything which is the time that we cherished most. Kevern is not only an amazing leader of his team but also such an amazing person and we could not be more thankful of everything that he did. We feel part of the Four Seasons family and we are extremely grateful. Thank you to everyone at The Westcliff.

No breakfast was provided and they said they don't provide breakfast after I asked one day There are kitchen utensils in the room with no cooker or stove.

Normal we stay at woodmead but this time we selected this place. This is a beautiful building with a big location. Roomare spacious and very clean way better than express. The best part is they have bathtub. Beds were good and room had amazijg view. The location is very near to CBD . This is a big campus. It's properly gated with security guard. Overall it was very good location. It has a good ball room, lounge, a pub and nice resturant. We liked the lounge area where there is a big piano. The food was good and brekfast was also amazing. Staff was very courteous and very helpfull. Overall we loved our stay here. Highly recommended.

Almost everything exceeded our expectations, from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you feel like royalty. The rooms are big and comfortable. The pillows sleep like a dream and the decor makes you feel like you're travelling back in time to when Marilyn Monroe was putting on her best show. Reception went out of their way to assist me with an extra bed for my daughter, free of charge. Breakfast was delicious. Someone is always asking if you want a coffee top up (yes please!). To the omelette chef, sir, I salute you! I LIVE for your omelettes. We even took advantage of the pool area, topped up my tan and enjoyed the clear, cool waters for a bit. If I were asked if there was anything they could do to improve our stay for next time, it would be a tiny one as this place already goes above and beyond. But, if anything, it would be to serve drinks at the pool. It would undoubtedly fulfil the dream stay. A couple of the waitresses came up to our table to tell my friend what beautiful eyes she has. If only they knew how much she needed the confidence boost, it's like God himself had sent them. Fire & Ice is simply the best! We were always greeted with the biggest smiles and best ”good mornings”, even told how radiant we look even though we'd just woken up. A lovely compliment goes a long way, so thank you! This Protea was fine with a younger more hip vibe but Marriott which is just across the road is more classy. I didn’t use the dining facilities. Solo Female Traveler 5 • a month ago Excellent Location, Very Clean, Safe and Beautiful I was a solo woman traveler to Johannesburg for the first time. I picked a perfect hotel. The location is excellent on Melrose Arch, very safe area and close by to many good restaurants. The best part is the Big Red City Bus stops right in front of the hotel. The location is an easy UBER ride to many of the tourist sites. The hotel serves an awesome breakfast with a large variety delicious of hot & cold foods. The dinner menu is also very good. The amenities are also very good. It offers excellent lounges and a beautiful court yard to relax in for drink, breakfast, coffee or to lounge by the pool. Tuvimos un problema con la caja de seguridad y nos cambiaron de habitación inmediatamente. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y cómodas. Todo el personal es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte en cualquier cosa. Nos recomendaron un tour turistico y estuvo muy bien. El restaurante está muy bien y a precio razonable. Tienen servicio de transporte y te pueden llevar a cualquier sitio también a un precio razonable.

I checked in yesterday to davinci my first experience at this luxury hotel. Check in was seamless and the 2 bed apartment is nothing short of amazing. However the luxe feel has somewhat been tarnished by a myriad of minor issues: 1. Breakfast is super basic there are options for Halal friendly and vegetarian but the buffet has barely anything on it. The ladies at stations making hot means were really overwhelmed and output was very poor. 2. The air conditioner was switched off when I got to my room and didn’t think anything of it but at 30 degrees I realised something was wrong and I had to endure a sniffly maintenance guy while he downloaded his app to figure out what the error message meant nevertheless they got it working. Usually the AC is on when you check in and you wouldn’t be able to then smell the plumbing smells that keep arising throughout the day and are most pungent in the morning. 3. I decided to put on the television for the first time in 2 days and lo and behold none of the three television in the apartment have any service, I wait my fate while I wait for maintenance to once again assist. 4. Nice kitchenette but not cloth in sight 5. Washing machine but nowhere to hang any wet clothes 6. Sliding door in second bathroom that doesn’t slide 7. Two pin plugs terribly positioned at the bottom of the side of the beds which wouldn’t have bothered me but since we are now in the mix of everything may as well mention it 8. Getting off on the 3rd floor straight into a barrage of cellphone merchants not quite the welcome to Sandton city i expected but not the hotels fault The staff are obliging and willing to help but a lot of small annoying things for a really beautifully located hotel with lots of potential. Overall let’s be honest for the price I expected better. I checked in yesterday and I am checking out on Friday 27/12 I hope it gets better.

ALL of the staff were so sweet, friendly, and helpful from the front desk, to the bar, to the wonderful restaurant! It made our stay so pleasant. And the rooms were well appointed. The bar has a great variety of interesting cocktails and the food in the restaurant was fantastic as well as beautifully presented. We were so surprised when Jay-Lyn presented us with a Happy Anniversary dessert. As I said, the staff went out of their way to give great service. H

Disappointing. My husband booked an early check in and called the day before we arrived to confirm it. When we arrived at 11am from a 12 hour flight the unhelpful receptionist told us our room wasn't available and that we'd have to wait until 2pm. She told us to wait in the bar and she'd call us if the room was available any earlier, but of course we didn't hear from her until we went back to reception. The room was huge but the curtains didn't close properly and half the light switches didn't work. There wasn't a mirror near to a power socket so I had to balance on pillows on the bed to use the decorative mirror above. We won't stay here again.
