Nice ambiance at the heart of dhaka. Quick checkin. Roof top swimming pool has a great view of Stunning hatirjheel along with a great gym. Foods are delicious. Lot of options available on room services. Buffet breakfast is really good. A nice parking at the basement.

My night at Hotel Afford-Inn was a pleasant surprise, blending comfort and affordability. A warm welcome with a juice at reception and helpful staff easing my luggage set a positive tone. The room, spacious and tidy with a cozy bed, i slept like a baby, maybe I was also exhausted from my long flights. Its proximity to the airport, just 2km away, was great, with quick and budget-friendly Uber rides at $3 to drop me off at the hotel and I paid arround $2 to Uber three wheels vehicle/TomTom to drop me off at the airport the next morning   The breakfast was modest. Street noise, inevitable in Dhaka, was a minor hiccup. Having tried pricier options with little difference and budget stays sacrificing comfort, Hotel Afford-Inn struck the right balance for me. For a low-budget, without compromising comfort, I'd recommend Hotel Afford-Inn and plan to return myself.

The location was good for business, but dhaka traffic is dhaka traffic, so it was a pain to travel anywhere other than downtown. The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clean, and our room was cleaned daily. The only issue I had was that the bed was too hard, and I didn't sleep well the first night. I told the house cleaner, and immediately he brought a softer mattress and 2 quilts. After this, I slept well. I am a westerner and used to soft beds, my travel partner is Bengali and the bed was fine for her. So this will not be a problem if you are used to hard beds. As soon as I told them my problem, they solved it immediately. Such good hospitality. The roof top pool was refreshing and clean. The gym was very well equipped, better than some gyms I have been to.

As a first-time visitor to Bangladesh, I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming experience than my stay at The Lakeshore Banani. I was struck by the warmth of the staff and the elegance of the surroundings. Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by the spaciousness and modern design. The room was tastefully decorated, with every amenity I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. When it came to dining, the hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I was treated to a culinary journey of authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, with each dish bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From traditional breakfasts to sumptuous dinners, every meal was a delight for the senses. Overall, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of top-notch hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made my first trip to Bangladesh truly memorable. I can't wait to return and experience it all over again.

The Grand Mark is now one of my favorite hotels in the World. I decided to stay at this hotel in Dhaka to Celebrate my Birthday. I arrived at the hotel around 5 a.m after 23 hours of travel from the States. Check-in was fast and easy. My luggage had been misplaced by the airlines. When I told the front desk they immediately went to work connecting with the airline to retrieve my luggage. I Thank those at the front desk. A great crew. Thank you Waleed Kabir for your help and kindness. Thank you, Mr. Ripon for helping with all my needs and for giving me a courtesy ride to the airport. There were so many helpful staff members at the hotel and I want to thank them all. Thank you, Umme Halima, Nazmus Sakib, and Ismail Jewel for making my Birthday and my visit special. The Breakfast buffet food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. My room was clean and comfortable. I will stay at the Grand Mark when I return to Dhaka.

Best hotel ever,zeker the Cove restaurant en de bediening van Graddafi,Reaz en vooral de rest van het personeel.De kamers zijn heel schoon . Ze rennen voor je wanneer je iets nodig hebt. Het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was toen de ATM apparaat in het hotel niet werkte en er geen geld gepind kon worden. De oplossing was simpel, achterop de motor van de bewaker naar de dichtsbijzijnde ATM ! Een fantastische ervaring op zich!Volgende keer gaan we zeker weer hier verblijven !!!

We stopped for lunch at their restaurant on the first floor. Should have seen the tell take signs when there were only 2 patrons during lunch time. Ordered BBQ wings, chicken schnitzel and Spaghetti with meat sauce. First it took an entire 45 minutes to get outr food! Unacceptable when there were no other people. The waiting staff were also very poorly trained. No apologies, no empathy. The chicken was tasteless. Straight out of the freezer, devoid of any taste. The spaghetti was decent. Tk 2,600 for a terrible experience. Last time.
