Hotel Dengan Bar di St. Gallen, Switzerland

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

出差臨時在瑞士小城聖加侖住了一晚，入住了這個酒店，服務和設施各方面都挺不錯的。 時間倉促，沒來及體驗小城生活，不過初看感覺還是很不錯的，期待有機會細細體驗。

Nous avons passé 3 nuit dans une chambre familiale (6 personnes) avec WC & Douche. Accueil très sympa, super petit déjeuner et aussi le souper du premier soir était parfait. Endroit propre et idéalement placé à proximité du centre de ville, avec accès transport public juste devant la porte. En plus on reçoit carte pour transport public gratuit durant le séjour (valide de st-galle jusqu'au lac de constance). Nous avons profitez de découvrir la ville de st-galle, tour de vélo au bord du lac de constance, ainsi une randonnée dans les montagnes d'Appenzell. Simplement magnifique.

Neues modernes Hotel mit einmaligem architektonischen Style. Man fühlt sich überall wohl: in der lässigen Lobby, im japanischen stilvollen Restaurant, im tollen Zimmer in der obersten Etage mit Aussicht über die ganze Stadt, im Wellness-Bereich und nicht zuletzt auf der einmaligen Terrasse. Herzlichen Dank gebührt auch dem aufmerksamen und freundlichen Personal.

For anyone coming to visit St Gallen, we can highly recommend TouchBed City Apartments. The location is super centric, and our studio even had a beautiful view of the old town and the Abbey. The self-checking was easy and convenient, the building is modern and the studio was great! We loved having our own kitchen as eating out in Switzerland can be really expensive. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfy and the shower was also great. We can recommend this place for any type of traveler on both leisure and business trips.

This expensive five star is very lovely and the staff are super. Always helpful and friendly. Our deluxe room was huge and the beds very comfortable. The balcony had a fantastic view of the front garden, filled with sculptures for Bad Ragartz, and the mountains. we spent lots of time there soaking in the view. There are a lot of pools and so I could i) swim laps in the 16.5 meter pool (often hard to find a lap pool at hotels) and ii) soak in the various mineral baths, both cold and hot. Wonderful for my mangled knee. There are several restaurants available. A great buffet breakfast at Olives d'Or with perfect croissants, lots of cheeses and cured meats, chia pudding which I loved, fruits, and nicely made omelettes. Excellent and creative, if pricey, food at Igniv, where we went for one dinner - lots of little dishes to share around the table, finishing with a wall of candy to choose to take away. Verve had a super mushroom dish at lunch and good ice cream, but the other dishes were pretty ho hum. I deducted one star because the hotel is very large, and for my mother who can't walk well, it was hard to get around. In particular, getting to the baths required either steps, which she couldn't do, or a big detour, with a lot of walking. Many people there are either old or damaged, and having to walk a lot is a problem (and no, my mother did not want to be put in a wheel chair). Along the same lines, some of the text in the hotel was tiny and/or confusing -- especially for an older person. This ranged from the description of the teas at breakfast to the light switches in the rooms, which my mom never mastered. It would be worth taking an expert through the hotel, someone who could advise the hotel how to make the hotel friendlier to customers who are elderly or injured. the Pizol mountain is a 10 minute drive away, where one can take a gondola to the top. Fantastic views and hikes. all in all, we had a very nice stay and would love to go back. There were just a few things that we wish had been better thought out.

Es ist immer wieder schön im Buchserhof zu Gast zu sein. Ich bim immer im vierten Stock untergebracht wo die Zimmer sehr groß und modern sind. Es wird sogar Wasser und ein Regenschirm angeboten sowie ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer und ein großer im Eingangsbereich. Das Personal ist super, sehr hilfsbereit und flexibel. Auch das Restaurant ist sehr schön zum draußen Sitzen auf der Terrasse und hat faire Preise. Bis bald!

This hotel is not just in the centre but not too far, it's still in walking distance. The railway station is also not too far. The room was clean with the minimum what one needs. I didnt have too much contact with the staff so cant say anything about it

My room was not large, but perfectly adequate. The towels are not plush, but clean and completely adequate. The bed was a queen, perfect. Wi-Fi good & reliable. If you are a light sleeper you might mention that as there can be a bit of noise late (when the bars close?) and early in the morning (street sweeping?) No safe in the room, didn't ask if one at the desk.

The room size is amazing .. definitely bigger than other places i have stayed in St. Gallen Service was great as was the employees. Everyone was so nice and smiling all the time. This is not my first time there and sure won't be the last

Booked this hotel to stay in during our roadtrip through Switzerland. We booked the Family suite and it was large enough for the four of us. Two kids had separate beds. Room is spotless with good view and very clean. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. During our stay, it was my daughter’s birthday and the staff surprised her with chocolate cake and ice cream. This was a very special touch. Parking in the hotel is 30 CHF per night however just across the street it is only 10. Very easy-going hotel with good access to Rapperswill and transport links. Highly recommended.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Hotel Sorell Speer. Dieses Mal nicht alleine als Paar, sondern mit meiner Mutter. Ich habe die beiden Zimmer lange im voraus gebucht, direkt über Hotel (Kette). Mein Wunsch: zwei Zimmer nebeneinander oder vis à vis. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir behandelt als ob wir noch nie in diesem oder einem anderen Sorell gewesen wären. Ein „Willkommen zurück“ hätte uns gefreut. Zimmer lagen dann zwar auf der gleichen Etage, aber nicht nebeneinander. Das hat uns enttäuscht. Besonders da es unser einziger Wunsch war. Die Zimmer ok. Schön sauber. Parkettboden. Keine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, Dusche in der Badewanne, Möbel erinnern an 80er Jahre. Alles ok, aber nicht für den Preis. Frühstück: klassisch. Nichts aussergewöhnliches. Es gibt immer noch nur zwei Säfte und nicht wie in den anderen Sorell eine Auswahl von fünf+. Warum der Tee im kleinen Espresso Tassli serviert wird erschloss sich uns allerdings nicht. Nettes Personal. Beim auschecken auch alles sehr 0815. Kein „bis bald“ „gute Reise“,…immerhin wurde ein Wasser für auf den Weg. Global gesagt: wir fühlten uns nicht ganz willkommen, unser Wunsch wurde nicht berücksichtigt und auch nicht korrigiert als ich dies beim Check in sagte, das Frühstück ok. Preis Leistung stimmte an dem Wochenende für uns persönlich nicht.
