ZZOE LOIIt was our first time visiting Chongqing with my family, and we spent a lot of time searching for the perfect hotel online. After much consideration, we decided on this one—and it turned out to be the best choice!
The hotel is in a convenient location, the rooms are very clean, and the service from the manager and front desk staff was absolutely exceptional.
I sincerely and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing. Their heartfelt service made us feel truly welcomed and at home.

SStefan C PadI stayed at this hotel for 20 days and had a consistently comfortable and smooth experience, making it ideal for both long stays and repeat visits.
The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Even with a language barrier, communication was easy through translation tools and messaging apps and we had a bit of fun. I also appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, which showed genuine care for guest comfort.
I had the chance to see both the original room and the upgraded one, and both were well designed, modern, and highly practical. The room layout and smart features are clearly intended to improve everyday comfort. Everything is easy to use — from curtains and lighting controlled from the bed to USB-C and USB charging ports, as well as a self-heating toilet seat with automatic flushing, high quality hair dryer.
The hotel also has a terrace on the 36th floor with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax. On the same floor, there are washing and drying facilities, making it very convenient for long stays and allowing you to travel light.
The view of the Jiangbeizui area is impressive during both the day and night, while the surroundings remain quiet in the evening, ensuring good rest. The mattress was excellent for sleeping — not too soft and not too firm — providing great support and high sleep quality throughout my stay.
The robot delivery service is efficient and can deliver food or requested items from the reception/lobby directly to your room when you orders things via WeChat or ** (food delivery app) which adds to the hotel’s modern and convenient experience.
The location is a strong advantage, with many key places reachable within 5–15 minutes by DiDi taxi, making transportation quick and easy.
Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, smart design, quiet surroundings, and reliable service. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would happily choose to stay here again — and even longer, if given the opportunity.
The only small issue I had was with the air-conditioning configuration. I wasn’t able to set it to a lower temperature that I personally prefer (around 17°C). However, this wasn’t a real problem — the hotel kindly offered a fan, which I declined, and simply keeping the window open was enough since it was cool outside.

HHapppiestAbsolutely amazing experience at Regent Hotel. We arrived in the early hours exhausted. Greeted warmly by the bell boy and immediately assisted us with the luggage. Swift check-in, our luggage were already in our room before we know it. Our room has fantastic view of the river and Hongyadong, even when in the bethtub the view is amazing. The room attendant kept our room neat and sparkling clean everyday. Their laundry service is top-notch, less than 3mins of calling the help desk the house keeping attendant is at our door step to pick up our laundry and also to return the clean ones. Not forgetting to mention the spread of the breakfast, delish!!! Definitely will choose Regent Hotel if we ever go Chongqing again.

One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting.
The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me.
The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever.
Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure.
While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort.

Ss.oya_Everything was good. It's not that hard to find as people write. The location is amazing, everything is pretty close, but when you come back you don't struggle with the crowd. The room was clean with a nice city view. It had a shampoo and shower gel in the shower, free sleepers in the room.
The hostel has a laundry that costs 8 RMB.
The host was extremely friendly and ready to help with everything. Even helped me to find a location from the photo. She doesn't speak English so every conversation was through the translator. But it was comfortable

YYouaremysunshineReally nice hotel, new and very plush. Decor of hotel and rooms are very nice. Room was so large with many comfortable places to sit, nice looking out windows. Bed was little bit hard for us but ok. Linen is nice, towels nice, good shower, great amenities. Cleanliness was perfect, the cleaner was very friendly and pays a lot of attention to detail. Staff very friendly and helpful and proactive through messaging service in English. Nice having fresh fruit that was replaced daily. Breakfast was good with some options freshly cooked to order. Afternoon tea inclusions great but would be good to have some savoury options or alternate the sweets given. Would be good to have more information on English about bar or wine options. Room was very quiet. Location is great and central to get cabs around, just have to walk some steps from taxi but not far and they carry luggage but I feel sorry for the guy who has to carry them up and down the stairs. The place is really nice with a lot of character and very plush and comfortable and I would stay here again for sure. It’s much nicer than the very big hotel chains as there are only small number of rooms.

The location is excellent, with easy access to the riverside and nearby attractions, and the views of the Yangtze River were beautiful, especially at night. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to assist. Breakfast had a good variety of both local and international options. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing.

Good location close to métro station
However, the service is not very satisfying.
The staff at the lobby know how to provide proper service to native chinese speakers. However, when it's about non chinese speakers, they don't feel confident or they lack the English skills to provide a satisfying quality of service.
I did not appreciate how they all looked so unavailable to ensure my needs were being satisfied properly.
It was the case when I asked questions about :
- Wi-Fi password (no instructions written provided in English and not making sure I was able to connect before they cut the line). It asked twice to lobby and then to a staff in the Corridor. They did not show me on smartphone how to connect to wifi.
- laundry service. Instructions on Washing machine are confusing. Nothing indicates its automatic and should be used without touching setting buttons ir where to put clean liquid and where to put the softener liquid. Also nothing says about the time where an employee working at laundry would he available.
If your staff gets too Manu questions from customers, have 1 staff member only for FAQ.
The lobby staff of check in check out should je focused on the customer in front not all customers from every where. It feels like a restaurant so far the way your staff interact.

Now, another thing about the hôtel. When I checked in the bedroom. The Window was open. It clearly says the Windows should be closed to prevent mosquitoes getting inside the bedroom. I suppose the staff in charge of cleaning left it open. Anyway, there was a few of flyers in the bedroom.
About the elevator number, the staff was telling me to take elevator number 3 to Access my bedroom. However, the number of elevator is written in chinese and not in digital number or English. This lack of English version make it confusing for non chinese speakers. I met a few foreigners who were lost, confused just like me.
Finally there was an elevator in the middle where customers could call and access but it was under construction. Not safe, not professionnal at all. Please ban this use of elevator. Make it clear for every one.
Last thing, if your hôtel is only for chinese speakers make it clear. The trip application says your staff can speak multiple languages which is absolutely note the case. Also the sockets provided in bedroom don't have any international sockets so i could not use my charger without adapter to use my laptop.
