.......mi sono fermato una notte, in transito da Lamezia. A dispetto della modestia del primo approccio il piccolo hotel Sogni d'oro Airport è davvero ottimo. Si fa perdonare subito qualche segno di usura dei pavimenti o di qualche arredo, queste cose non influiscono affatto sulla funzionalità, efficienza, pulizia, disponibilità del personale . Ottima colazione. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è straordinario, prezzo da b&b. trattamento decorosissimo da hotel a tre stelle con tutti i relativi confort. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

We were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

My friend and I stayed here after arriving on a late flight to Lamezia. Picked because there is a shuttle bus outside that goes back and forth from the airport. The hotel is not welcoming at all. Like something from the 1970s. The staff were unhelpful in refusing to put a call through to the local car hire. There was noise all night from the locality, some kind of drumming and then early morning the heat/ refrigeration and station traffic kicked in so there was little sleep. Breakfast was extra? The room was large and clean but barren . There were no covers on the duvets, no milk for tea/ coffee and the pillows were like bricks. I should have investigated some of the cheaper options nearby as you should do.

The hotel all in all was great. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room I booked(423) was a junior suite. But it had this funny smell when coming into the room. But it was nice and spacious and had a really expansive bathroom. We switched to the room opposite (401) and it had a great sea view. Especially love the curtains surrounding the bedroom area! And the blackout curtains were great if you want to sleep in. The bathroom in this room was not as large as the previous room but it was charming. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. But if you want hot food you need to pay extra. The air conditioning was not up to par with what I expected. It only goes down up to 22.5 and for me that’s still warm to have a cozy night’s dream. But that’s just me. It’s near the high street and the famous gelato shop! They do have siestas so most of the shops are closed from 3-7 pm. Try the ADDUMA restaurant near the hotel. It’s fantastic! The hotel’s restaurant looks fabulous during the night. And you can go out to the terrace and enjoy the wonderful sea view with night lights lovingly encompassing the Lungomare Falcomata.

Excellent position close to beautiful via Marina with old giant trees, elegant corso Garibaldi, the Harbour hidtofoils peer to Messina and the foremost interesting archeological museums with the impressive statues of Bronzi di Riace. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice bathrooms. The location is quiet and the staff is kind and supportive. There is also a small and good restaurant to solve the needs of a quick tasty dinner. The hotel claims four star but there are some doubts because of absence e. g. of courtesy slipperies and bathrobe, the non convenient location and unavailability of electric sockets ose to the bed nor USB ports.

Popilia is a truly magical place, on a gently sloping plateau, with centuries-old forests and beautiful botanical specimens. The spa is excellent, with a Kneipp path and high-quality saunas. The restaurant is very well looked after in every respect, especially the very elegant and professional service, the excellent cook and a good wine list, nothing is missing. I recommend it to everyone, great resort of excellent international standard.

Beh da cosa cominciare.. Dalla maleducazione della proprietaria, che durante tutto il soggiorno ci ha infastiditi e stalkerizzati. Spiego brevemente. Abbiamo prenotato una tripla, ma nella camera c'era un letto in più ,che a noi non dava fastidio, ma la proprietaria ha detto che le sarebbe servito, le abbiamo detto che poteva venire quando voleva a prenderlo anche subito. Inizialmente disse che non c'era chi avrebbe dovuto prendere il letto ma alle 14:00 quando siamo tornati in albergo abbiamo ricordato la nostra disponibilità a ridare il letto in più, sentendoci rispondere che non le serviva più. Siamo stati in camera fino alle 19'00 poi siamo andati a cena in un paese vicino... appena arrivati abbiamo cominciato a ricevere mille telefonate dalla signora che ci spiegava che stava andando in camera a prendere questo letto, al che abbiamo risposto che non poteva in quanto non eravamo in camera e dentro si trovavano i nostri due cagnolini e quindi di pazientare che quando tornavamo le avremmo aperto noi la stanza per poter prendere il necessario. Da qui ha cominciato a urlare, offendere e attaccarci il telefono in faccia dicendo che le avevamo requisito una camera e che tanto lei sarebbe entrata ugualmente e che avrebbe chiamato i carabinieri.Ho dovuto ricordare alla signora che i carabinieri li avrei chiamati io se fosse entrata senza il mio permesso,dato che in camera c erano i miei effetti personali e quindi era reato penale ....Lascio immaginare il nostro stato d'animo per tutta la cena. Da dimenticare.. .! Al rientro in hotel ho detto alla signora che le avrei lasciato il letto aggiuntivo sul pianerottolo,e lei urlando a squarciagola (ore 23,30 più o meno) mi ha detto”PRIMA MI DEVI CHIEDERE SCUSA MALEDUCATO!!”😱 Ha anche finto di non avere una seconda chiave della stanza, perché non voleva che nelle ore di punta lasciassimo l'aria condizionata accesa ai nostri cagnolini.considerando che l hotel si dice ”per friendly”!ma la signora asseriva che l aria condizionata per i cani ( ad agosto) non vale la pena!! La colazione con cornetti duri cotti la sera prima(sentivo l odore della cottura alle 23 e sono uno chef) e il caldo soffocante in sala colazioni,alla richiesta di accendere l aria ha storto il muso,bisbigliando in calabrese il disappunto!! A QUESTO PUNTO FATE VOI LE VOSTRE CONCLUSIONI....

The hotel is in the best location. We 3 oceanfront rooms & a suite. The suite is not really a suite but it was okay. It’s very clean, pretty & for the most part staff is very nice. There was one reception staff member that always seemed flustered & was not so helpful. The rest of them at the desk were great. But, please beware of the balcony doors!! We booked ocean front but could NOT use the balconies because the doors were complicated to open (had NO instructions). In one of the rooms, we attempted to open the balcony doors but they were not working well (probably broken). We then tried turning the lever left instead of right, and it got worse. We immediately reported it! At check out, I was charged 180 euros for the broken door handle!!! I also paid over 2000 euros for 4 nights. We were very easy going & patient guests even when our room refrigerator was broken and they could not accommodate us to park in their garage. But, we are very upset now that we were charged an exorbitant amount of money for a broken handle and we are not even sure if we did break it because when we tried opening it the right way, it did open either. We feel that they took advantage of us because we are American tourists. My family who lives in neighboring towns told us that we should have refused to pay. Anyway, I wanted to forewarn everyone so that they make sure to not accidentally dent or break anything. And, if something is already broken, well good luck in explaining it to them snd expect to be charged for it. The rating deserves to be Poor or Terrible because of the extra charge but I am giving them credit for their other redeeming things.

Hotel is very central to the shops and Resturants , for parking they have a garage in another street that they will guide to find the garage just one road down easy to find you have to pay €20 but it’s worth it , becuse in the area there is no parking spaces or you have to be lucky to find one becuse it’s too busy, breakfast could be better for a 4 star hotel but and the AC needs a service becuse it wasn’t working well , above all it was ok

La nostra esperienza presso questo B&B è stata davvero eccezionale. La proprietaria è stata incredibilmente gentile e cordiale, sempre disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza con un sorriso. Scrivo questa recensione a nome di sei persone, avendo alloggiato in una camera quadrupla e una doppia. Le camere erano impeccabili: ben arredate, pulite e ordinate, praticamente nuove. Anche i bagni erano di dimensioni generose, perfettamente puliti e dotati di un'ampia quantità di asciugamani. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi di trovare persino un asciugacapelli di grandi dimensioni, un dettaglio che non sempre è garantito neanche nei migliori alberghi. La colazione era ottima, con una buona varietà di opzioni: cornetti di diversi tipi, crostate, biscotti e latte fresco, il tutto servito con cura. La posizione del B&B è davvero comoda, rendendo facile l'accesso alle principali attrazioni della zona. Il soggiorno è stato spettacolare e sicuramente torneremo ancora.

Ottima struttura recentemente rinnovata. Posizione centralissima utile per visitare la città a piedi. Ristorante di buona qualità. Ottima direzione e personale molto disponibile e qualificato. Consiglio vivamente. Unico neo essendo in pieno centro qualche limitata difficoltà di parcheggio.

Arrived after midnight and was met by Lorenzo on very good form. We had booked the penthouse apartment for 4 nights, and we were very happy with the accommodation - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large living area with an open kitchen. The stars of the show are definitely the outside terrace, and the apartments location - very central for all amenities and a short walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Lorenzo arranged our transfers and indulged us with a welcome drink or 3, which, after arriving late, was most welcome . We all loved Reggio Calabria and plan to return. If we do, we will definitely stop at the Pellicano again.

Grand et bel hôtel, dans le haut de la ville, dans un quartier agréable, non loin du centre ville, où il est difficile de stationner mais où le stationnement est en revanche gratuit. L'accueil est bon. Nous aurons une chambre qui donne ne donne pas sur la mer, mais sur de belles villas. Belle chambre, agréable. Très bon petit-déjeuner en bas de l'hôtel. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la rue qui descend vers le centre-ville. Nous déjeunerons en centre-ville dans une trattoria simple mais au très bon menu (Ceravolo). A noter que les plages sont à 15 km. Grandes plages, non payantes, où nous étions quasiment seuls en septembre !

A due passi dal Policlinico universitario, hotel nuovo, pulito, stanze ampie, letto super confortevole. Tutto perfetto

Stayed at this hotel for a few nights on business. We were a large group and we arrived late at night - all the rooms were ready and the staff were nice. The hotel is a medium rise property on the waterfront *****. It's nice and feels very ”old world” with lots of the common areas and restaurant having very old style furniture - works though. I was on the 4th floor but not a room with an ocean view. There was some refurbishments going on in the hotel but there were no noise issues for me. Spacious room, good enough wi-fi. Breakfast was a bit on the smaller side compared to higher star hotels, but still fine. The staff speak enough English to get by if you don't have any Italian. There's the beach right across the road and it'd great for a swim or suntanning. There's a few shops / cafes / restaurants etc around, but this is not near the main (old) town of Catanzaro (20min drive away) if you're looking for the Italian Old Town experience. Catanzaro probably isn't on many peoples list of places to see in Italy, but for what we were doing it was fine. We did end up in the Old Town (for work) and we did try Bobs Pizza - recommended for a great / different pizza experience.

Ci siamo stati 7 anni fa e ne siamo rimasti incantati. Oggi, pur avendo mantenuto un alto standard, abbiamo notato qualche piccola differenza. Ciò che non è cambiato è la qualità del servizio: i ragazzi della colazione sono davvero eccezionali e fanno la differenza. Ottimo l'oscuramento della stanza. Essendoci stati 9 giorni suggeriamo una maggiore varietà a colazione che comunque ha il plus di offrire valide alternative senza glutine e senza lattosio ( con proposta di 3 tipi di latte vegetale come avena, mandorla o soia). Comunque rimane un' ottima soluzione a Catanzaro Lido.
