Budget friendly hotel near Sendai Station. I opted for breakfast and the food was amazing. Courteous staff, no noise, peaceful. You might find mouldy smells occasionally but it was fine for me if I compare this hotel with other ones.

Service is great, but compared to the price, I was expecting more from the hotel. The rooms are pretty average, the breakfast isn’t as good as advertised, and it’s mostly fish based dishes. In comparison there are cheaper hotels around Sendai with similar meal and room options. I was quite disappointed, as there are no cutlery in your room incase you want to mix coffee, or eat a takeout. Better you bring your own cutlery. Location is very good and walking distance to Sendai station.

Great hotel in a fantastic location within walking distance to JR central train station with limited car parking facilities directly behind the hotel and next to a local train station (which we forgot the name of the station as we rented a vehicle). If you drive to the hotel and decided to use the hotel car park (subject to availability), the hotel will charge you ¥1500.00 per night with unlimited entry and exit within the next 24 hours. Of course there are plenty of other car parks nearby too which offers cheaper rate for parking but you’ll have to hunt around or just pay the ¥1500 for the convenience. The onsen (indoor only no outdoor and the water is milky) is located on the 2nd floor which is the same floor with the hotel only restaurant which offers buffet breakfast. The gender separated onsen closes at midnight and won’t be opened till 9am the next day so you’ll need to time yourself well. There is a laundry and dryer self service facilities with vending machines and complimentary ice making machine on the 2nd floor for your convenience. Breakfast is a typical western and Japanese affairs however you won’t be left hungry. Service is of typical Japanese affairs where you will be greeted each time you walk past the reception. The hotel encourages you to pick up tea bags, onsen body scrubs, tooth brushes, combs etc next to the ground floor lifts before you head up to your room. If you stay more than a day but less than 3 days, the hotel won’t provide room service but they’ll gladly change the towels and clear the bins for you. We are allocated to a smallest room on 11th floor (room:1106) facing the Yodobashi multi story car park, so request for any middle rooms facing the train station would get you a bigger a better view. Comfortable stay and nice bed and good bathroom and for the price we pay, we have no complain.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was clean, and the location was very convenient for a weekend stay at Sendai. There are several convenience stores nearby and lots of restaurants and malls within a short walking distance. I hope that they can provide more pillows as a default standard. :D

It's my 2nd stay here in this hotel, and I love it. Nice room layout, ample space for a solo occupant, comfy bed, and pillows. I like the bit where i can open window slight ajar for ventilation. A little corner to lounge, sip my morning coffee, and watch the street bustle below. Good amenities are provided, and service staffs were polite and helpful.

Love the fact that it is just above Sendai station. Very convenient to drop off shopping bags when shopping around the area. Or to take trains to Yamagata or Matsushima for day trips. Room is clean, small but still can open 2 mid sized luggages.

The hotel is located near Sendai station, just about 5 min. walk. However, the hotel sign is not prominent. For others hotel, you can see the hotel name at the top of the building and find them easily, this hotel you have to walk with gg map. The staff were not at the lobby when we checked out. And they have no luggage deposit service. There was a sign saying you can leave the luggages at the lobby but they are not responsible of it. (meaning, you can leave it, but if it’s lost, not our business)

Very spacious room, ours was provided with a massage chair which was great! Closed to restsurants and shopping areas but a bit walk to JR station. Very polite staff. Breakfast ok but not impressive. Lobby quite nice, offering free coffee.

Hotel is conveniently located near to shops and train station, making it easy to travel around and get your food/souvenirs. Furniture are well-maintained. Bathtub is small but deep enough for one to soak after a day of shopping and sightseeing.

Nice Sea view and onsen. Great variety of seafood buffe and breakfast but taste was acceptable. There is hotel shuttle bus service but the last bus was before 6 pm. The JR station has no staff and does not have any escalator or elevator so beware that you need to carry luggage up and down the stairs. It's out of GO service area but there was taxi waiting in front of the station.

The staff of the hotel was very nice and kind from the very start of the booking process, so informative when I asked about room type and the condition that I was looking for. I spend time there for 2 days 1 night with 1 room and 2 meals to celebrate my birthday with my sister. The hotel even passed the information to the restaurant staff and they were kind enough to sing the happy birthday song for me and also gave me a birthday gift. The room was cleaned well and has all the amenities you might need. The private bath was very good too.

The staff at the hotel were far from friendly or accommodating. Their lackadaisical attitude and indifference towards the guests were disappointing, to say the least. Requests for assistance or information were met with apathy, leaving me feeling ignored and unimportant. It is evident that the staff lacked the proper training in customer service and hospitality. The accommodations themselves were subpar and in dire need of renovation. My room was outdated, with worn-out furnishings and a general sense of neglect. The cleanliness standards were questionable, and I encountered several maintenance issues throughout my stay. The lack of attention to detail and upkeep was simply unacceptable. In terms of dining options, the hotel fell short yet again. The on-site restaurant served mediocre food with limited choices. The quality of the meals was average at best, failing to impress even the most casual of diners. The lack of variety and flavor left me disappointed and longing for better culinary experiences. Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the hotel was lacking. The atmosphere was dull and devoid of any character or charm. The common areas felt neglected and poorly maintained, further contributing to the overall sense of dissatisfaction. In conclusion, my experience at the 大江户温泉物語松島温泉壯觀酒店 was far from satisfactory. The lackluster location, indifferent staff, outdated accommodations, underwhelming dining options, and overall lack of care and attention to detail made for an unenjoyable stay. 夫婦2人、12/30 １泊しました。宿泊費はこの時期にしてはリーズナブルでした。外観は本館と別館では古さの違いがわかる感じですが、中は綺麗でした。サービスは良かったです。部屋も広くて2人では勿体無いくらいでした。お風呂もまあまあ広くてゆっくり入浴出来ました。食事も充分な量でした。多少の汚れ(テープラス等)が気になる所もありますが、料金含めて良かったと思います。

While some may appreciate this setup, it’s not my preference. However, as a drinker, you’ll find a wide variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from.

位置有點遠，但服務很好，外出可幫忙叫的士，還包外出的車資。還有私人溫泉可免費享用，下午茶時段還有免費茶點，晚餐及早餐食物均美味，印尼式嘅酒店，值得推薦。

A stones’ throw from the train station and with a stunning view, this is a ryokan that seems to be unchanged since the 1970s or early 80s. The fixtures are dated but in good condition, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was superb!

Dinner and breakfast were included and was very good. Quiet location near Matsushimakaigen Station.
