We booked this hotel at the last minute because our AirBnB was a bust. Went here with a group of 6 women and booked the two bedroom suite on the 7th floor. This place was amazing! All of the staff were super nice and extremely accommodating from the restaurant staff to housekeeping, to the men who helped out on the beach in front of the resort. We enjoyed drinks at the Oyster Bar. Wouldn’t suggest doing this unless you wanna pay USA prices for shots. We left with an unexpected $100 tab! If you stick with mixed/frozen drinks it’s not as expensive. Would recommend a Miami Vice over expensive shots. Location is great within walking distance of a lot of places. Catching a ride is super easy because the taxis wait outside of the resort. This resort is right on the beach and has a nice seating area. Only gripe and why I took off one star is the vendors. It would be nice if the people working for the resort assisted with shoeing the beach vendors away. The amount of times I had to say “no” was ridiculous. They almost make it hard to really enjoy the beach. I had to pretend I was asleep so they would leave me alone. Definitely recommend this place for the staff and great room. The views were amazing, we were able to sleep to the sound of the waves and watch the most beautiful sunsets. Amazing staff. Great location. Clean room nice bathrooms.

The resorts offer a variety of experiences and opportunities for all. From golf, deep sea fishing, or just relaxing at the 6 swimming pools, this resort provides it all. The staff are always friendly, courteous and eager to help to ensure your stay is perfect. People who exceeded our expectations this trip were; Juan, Avi, ConciergeVIP, Armando Concierge, Antonio server Teraza, Jorge server La Marina, Francisco server La Concha, Diego captain at pools Marina, and two of his servers Blas and Eduardo, and Daniel Front Desk Marina. We have been coming to the resorts for over 20 years and are confident your stay will be fabulous.

At our check-in took 45minutes, A/C in room was extremely noisy, broken sink, no acces to WiFi, (WiFi is offered by hotel), We was 3 persons, towels enough for 2p every day, we need to request extra shampoo and towels every day, only 1 key card for the room(no second key available), slow elevator. Bathroom no handicap accessible, minimum control on noise in the hallway. These was not a good experience, pay for 4 people, we only arrived 3p. Hotel refuse to provide credit back

Fui en temporada algo baja octubre y todo de maravilla, en recepción y al entregarme la habitación súper rápido, todo muy limpio y muy atentos, las habitaciones no son las más grandes pero están bien🤝🏼

I've read some Karen reviews about this place, but after being here a week, I can honestly say I am so sad to go home tomorrow. I am a General Hotel Manager myself, & this place is fantastic. The beds are heaven, the pillows awesome, the restaurant was superb for ALL meals, grounds are immaculate, linen are dazzling white, staff was on point & ALWAYS friendly--American culture is to complain about everything but we loved every minute here. Lots of shopping in walking distance, this place is a slice of heaven. So glad the mother-in-law chose this hotel for the family, we love it!

The hotel is in good location and room was clean and service is good

Hotel nuevo con instalaciones elegantes y con un diseño arquitectónico agradable. La habitación que ocupé me hizo una estancia placentera; la cama, almohadas y edredones, son una maravilla. El baño es bonito y los clósets son bastante funcionales. Debo destacar el gran profesionalismo y amabilidad del personal de recepción. El joven que me ayudó a resolver un problema que tenía la confirmación de mi reservación hizo muy bien su trabajo. Además de él, a Srta. González y Luisa merecen todo mi reconocimiento. Espero regresar pronto. Para terminar, creo no sería despreciable la idea de destinar dinero y ayuda profesional para capacitar al personal del área de reservaciones. Se podría estar perdiendo clientes por errores que, en apariencia, son mínimos, pero que, si no se atienden de inmediato, pronto nos van a mostrar lo evidente en materia de costos/ huésped......

I stayed at the Ibis in Culiacan in early December 2020. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also quiet and had a good view of the city. The hotel was also very safe and I felt secure the entire time. There are good options for food nearby (even for my sensitive stomach!)

When we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation. Finally after 15 minutes they find it. We ask for towels to use at the pool. They say they didn’t have any but someone would bring them to our room. We get to the room that was supposed to have one king or two queens. It had one Queen. Very small room. Hard mattress. My arms kept falling asleep. I only wish the rest of me could have done the same. Two sheets, top and bottom. No blanket. It had an ocean view however the balcony door stuck so badly it took all my husbands muscles to open. No lock on the door either. We went for supper, when we got back still no pool towels. So I decide to have a shower and realize there were no towels at all. Nothing. So my husband calls. They say they will bring some. I wait. And wait. I go back downstairs and tell the man at the desk I need two towels. He opens the cupboard, searches through a stack of towels and hands me one bath towel and two hand towels. No I say I need dos grande. Nope. He say no we no have. Not sure why I couldn’t have one out of the stack of towels that were there. They couldn’t be pool towels because he looked through them earlier when we checked in and asked then for pool towels, just as it said to do on the information page they gave us. I guess maybe they were thursdays towels only and we came in on Wednesday… who knows. Anyways with all that and the elevator that was in need of repair, (it was loud and out of balance and rubbed on something when you rode up or down) and the mold on the bathroom floor it is not worth the money at all.

Genaro from the pool bar gave us excellent service through our stay. Will recommend and definitely visit again.great time and lots of fun time. Food and drinks were good. Family had an awesome time and will come back again. Thank you for the great service.

Excelente opción para hospedarse, buen servicio y las habitaciones muy cómodas, el restaurante tiene buena comida con una excelente vista, tiene una ubicación excelente, toman en cuenta las necesidades de las personas mayores

El hotel bien ubicado, ningún elevador de huéspedes servía, nos mandaban por el de servicio pasando por las áreas de empleados. El agua caliente no estaba caliente lo suficiente aún abriendo toda la llave. No tiene caja de seguridad e cuarto.

I really liked my stay at Hotel Lucerna. Overall it was a very pleasant trip and the hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, the pool was not open due to it being the off season. At 93 degrees being our hottest day there, I thought swimming would be a part of out activities there, but the pool was ”closed”. The water was dirty and unkempt. The pool was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel, but this is considered off-season for this area. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Room was a bit dusty when I first checked-in, but improved with subsequent days of stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. room service was quick, friendly and tasty. Fitness room was very nice, but water dispenser was not working. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Culiacan.
