Price/quality is good. The terrace opens like a garage door, a very interesting solution, though right in front of it (1st floor) is the employees' staircase, so it is not comfortable to keep the window open. The room is not new, but it was not critical for me. We did not use the pool, because the flight was early in the morning. I did not like the unclear topic with the deposit, the information on the website says that it is only taken from guests under 25 years old, I am older, but they asked me for it too. Moreover, they took the card and began to rewrite all the data for themselves, including the CVC, it is not safe. Therefore, the room was not checked after check-out! Logic?
Overall, I would like to come back again, the beach is very close
Location: The hotel is located near the train station, but getting there requires climbing a steep hill. It’s puzzling why the hotel doesn’t offer a shuttle bus to the station. On the bright side, the hotel faces the sea, offering stunning views. There’s also a sightseeing mini-train right downstairs, which costs €8 per person. It takes you around some of Tarragona’s main attractions, but it doesn’t stop along the way, nor is there any guided commentary.
Service: The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. They not only recommended excellent sightseeing routes but also some very delicious restaurants. Since we arrived early for check-in and our room wasn’t ready, they kindly offered us the option to use the gym facilities to change clothes if needed.
Cleanness: Good.
Facility: The mattress was terrible. Why do mattresses in Spanish local-brand hotels seem to always sag so much? Do they actually prefer that sinking feeling?
Overall: Great value for money.
Very clean and hygienic hotel with stunning views of the sea/beach! The staff are very friendly and the facilities are amazing would definitely stay there again.

Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel NM fue excepcional. La amabilidad del personal hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa desde el primer momento. La localización es inmejorable, a poca distancia a pie de la playa y del centro, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de todo lo que Playa de Aro tiene para ofrecer sin necesidad de un coche. Además, es un lugar perfecto para los amantes de los animales; viajamos con nuestros dos perras y fueron muy bien recibidas.
,Las instalaciones son amplias y modernas, y todo está impecable. Aparcar en la calle fue fácil y cómodo. El desayuno es muy bueno, con deliciosas opciones sin gluten que hicieron nuestra estancia aún más agradable.
El único aspecto que podría mejorarse es la conexión wifi, que a veces era débil, pero esto no empañó nuestra experiencia general.
Definitivamente volveremos. Gracias a todo el equipo del Hotel NM.
Very good hotel. They just completed a full refurb. The zone of the entrance looks very modern. Breakfast is excellent just I think they should offer more variety to stand out. For me was a really nice stay and we would come back.
Amazing hotel, stunning location, the food in the restaurant was very good. Close to shops and right on the beach, supermarket close by, everything’s in walking distance. No beach towels but lots of shops selling them, the beach is stunning one either side and accessible via steps, my room had a sea view I recommend booking this… it was an outstanding view
I had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.

When checking in, the receptionist DEMANDED a deposit from me in an ultimatum form. I replied that I was checking out at 7 am and I would hardly be able to use the deposit, to which he replied that this was the hotel's policy and I was obliged otherwise he would cancel my reservation. I showed him the check-in voucher, which did not contain information about my obligation to make a deposit. He said that this was my problem and he would now (at 00:00 at night) cancel the reservation. After 20 minutes, I managed to convince him not to take a deposit from me. The second round of the tragedy began - he asked to pay a tourist tax. I offered to pay by credit card, since I only had cash US dollars with me. but I couldn't pay with a VISA card, which I've used without problems in 50 countries around the world!!! but the terminals at the hotel didn't accept my card. I asked to take a deposit of 100 US dollars, but he wouldn't hear of it, he made me exchange 200 dollars (!!!) since the hotel policy prohibits exchanging a smaller amount!!! for your information - the tourist tax is 12.54 euros and the hotel employee couldn't provide me with a normal terminal for payment! in short, it's terrible, in the end I fell asleep only at 01:00 at night. terrible place, absolutely disloyal staff. he tried to yell at me!!! this is the first time I've seen something like this! it's just awful!
The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. We had access to the executive lounge which was really nice (nice view, good snacks). Location is close to a metro and tram station which is good, but otherwise its not very central so if you are here purely for tourism its a bit further away from most tourist places. We were less satisfied with the service; it was possible to order pillows with the app, but it kept not working. Reception dit not answer the phone or the provided whatsapp number when asking questions. The staff was very friendly. It would be nice to be able to access netflix on the smart tv. Channels were mostly all spanish. The bathroom was less practical/nice for an executive king room.

GGuest UserA lovely trip away for a few days. Clean hotel lovely staff especially Andrea. A few restaurants nearby and around 10 bus stops to supermarket. The staff clean everyday if you leave a sign for them to enter, chef dinners were lovely I never ate breakfast due to waking up later. Abit pricey compared to some other hotels near by I am not sure why as it’s not on the beach but across the road. I was in abit of a problem with my return back to London and the manager was not willing for me to continue my stay for the original price I paid instead doubling the price that was the negative experience that I had, all other staff was helpful and kind. I mostly took videos in the hotel that I cannot upload there’s pictures are a meal at the restaurant the road of the hotel and one restaurant.
DDr. Julio BernalAt first I was concerned about the location of the hotel. Nothing to be worried about. The hotel is near the train station. (20 minutes walk). There are several options for dining around the hotel. The facilities are well kept (sauna/pool). The room was spacious and comfortable. Something to improve would be the operating ours for the bar. They close at 11. You could not get even a bottle of water unless you go and walk at least 10 minutes. Things that can improve for future travelers. 1. The attitude of the people in the lobby should represent the hotel brand. There was a staff person in the checking counter( I don’t know his name, male in his 30s…) yelling to another coworker and he didn’t mind if there were guests or not around. Truly unkind and unprofessional. 2. The restrooms in the lobby need a lot of maintenance. There were broken toilets and faucets. Besides these observations, this place is a very good option if you want to stay outside Barcelona.

AAnonymous UserThe room is separated by a cabinet. The sea view is very beautiful, go out to the sea one step. Suitable for travel. Living is very comfortable and should come again. Four-star hotel, almost four-star standard.
EErwin YuanThe W Hotel boasts the best location on Barcelona beach. I recommend booking a high-floor room if possible; the sunrise views in the morning are absolutely stunning. After checking in, I suggest heading straight to the beach. The hotel has its own small private beach area accessible from the basement level, and guests get complimentary use of sun loungers and towels. The outdoor pool on the ground floor is fantastic, with many European and American tourists enjoying the sun. My tip is to have breakfast early, as the number of sun loungers on either side of the pool is limited. On Sunday evenings, the hotel hosts a pool party, which is free for guests with a room card. Non-guests have to queue and pay an entrance fee, and the atmosphere at the pool party is really great.
GGuest UserI sure do like giving good reviews, but I just can’t for Port Sitges that is unless you’re a smoker, because apparently they allow you to smoke about anywhere. I smelled smoke in my room from the patio next door. I smelled it in the lobby and the elevator. I had paid extra to have a room with a view of the marina and a Terrace. The first room they gave me had a view of the parking lot. (See picture) When I first inquired about it, they said that was all they had, after I smelled the smoke I said I can’t stay there and I would leave. They couldn’t find a different room. Only then did they move me to the other side with a view of the ocean, but no Terrace. They told me they were full, but it seemed pretty clear that they had lots of rooms available. I was there for nights and never saw more than a few lights on.
The original room they had put me in had been recently remodeled. Weird thing is there was no bathroom door. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t wanna see my roommate sitting on the toilet. If I was sitting on the bed against the wall, that’s exactly what I would see. (See picture) Just a little too weird for me. There is lots of lovely places to stay in Sitges and for less money. I recommend you look elsewhere.

AAnonymous UserThe room is very clean and spacious, one of the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in. The room is great, however we had issue with the ac. It’s equipped with the controller that has AC and heater option, but the AC was not working and it kept blowing out hot air no matter how cold we set the dial. Upon checking with reception, we were told during November they switch the entire building system from ac to heater option so individual rooms have no way to override this. The room has massive windows so that has kept us cool. While we are in Nov, where weather is getting colder, the week that we were in Barcelona has great weather and temperatures still at the 15-20degrees so would have thought they would also consider the climate instead of just having a scheduled date to switch over everything to heating..
There are loads of breakfast options, but no egg station. Hot food option not the best, bacon and scrambled eggs overcooked and not really good quality on sausages. For those who enjoy cold breakfast selection like the pastries fruit and hams etc it’s much wider selection they provide here compared to other hotels.
IIan666The hotel has very poor water quality. The tap water has a strange smell and is not very clean, making it difficult to wash hands and shower properly. Additionally, the bathtub's water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold, which is very frustrating. However, aside from this, everything else is great. The location is close to the subway station, and the staff are friendly and courteous.
KKimmyg43Honestly, this place is a gem! Room 405 has the best panoramic views of the city/harbour and a beautiful terrace area on the roof for sunbathing.
The staff were super lovely and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
Ladies at breakfast were friendly and welcoming, the food was a good selection, however the hot food items sadly weren't hot (think cold bacon slices, warm eggs, warm beans) just about warm nothing more which by the time you've buttered your toast and started to eat its all cold.
The room was super clean and comfy, room service was excellent, I requested more pillows and they arrived at my room within minutes.
The hotel is centrally located for the city/harbour and for all the sightseeing.
Beds are too hard for me but that's personal preference.
I would definitely come back here again.
