Hotel Beach di Calabria, Itali

The hotel is in the best location. We 3 oceanfront rooms & a suite. The suite is not really a suite but it was okay. It’s very clean, pretty & for the most part staff is very nice. There was one reception staff member that always seemed flustered & was not so helpful. The rest of them at the desk were great. But, please beware of the balcony doors!! We booked ocean front but could NOT use the balconies because the doors were complicated to open (had NO instructions). In one of the rooms, we attempted to open the balcony doors but they were not working well (probably broken). We then tried turning the lever left instead of right, and it got worse. We immediately reported it! At check out, I was charged 180 euros for the broken door handle!!! I also paid over 2000 euros for 4 nights. We were very easy going & patient guests even when our room refrigerator was broken and they could not accommodate us to park in their garage. But, we are very upset now that we were charged an exorbitant amount of money for a broken handle and we are not even sure if we did break it because when we tried opening it the right way, it did open either. We feel that they took advantage of us because we are American tourists. My family who lives in neighboring towns told us that we should have refused to pay. Anyway, I wanted to forewarn everyone so that they make sure to not accidentally dent or break anything. And, if something is already broken, well good luck in explaining it to them snd expect to be charged for it. The rating deserves to be Poor or Terrible because of the extra charge but I am giving them credit for their other redeeming things.

Posizione ottima , panorama bellissimo , il posto auto lo so trova con facilità, la stanza situata al primo piano è piccola ma molto accogliente, propietario disponibile, ma purtroppo alcune volte ci si perde in un bicchiere d'acqua, un comodino senza presa elettrica non si può vedere, soprattutto se la presa c'è ma ha i tappi, il televisore non funzionava, e per finire il lavandino si intasava in 20 secondi. Mi dispiace tantissimo perché la struttura è ristrutturata carina, con apertura elettronica sia all' ingresso che nelle stanze, basta solo curare qualche particolare ed un po' di manutenzione. Spero di recensire al massimo il mio prossimo soggiorno nella struttura perché ha tantissime potenzialità.

Ottima struttura recentemente rinnovata. Posizione centralissima utile per visitare la città a piedi. Ristorante di buona qualità. Ottima direzione e personale molto disponibile e qualificato. Consiglio vivamente. Unico neo essendo in pieno centro qualche limitata difficoltà di parcheggio.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per un matrimonio e poi vi abbiamo soggiornato. Nulla da dire sulla location e assolutamente nulla da dire sulla qualità del mangiare servito (per non parlare della quantità). Hotel e camere in stile classico ed elegante molto fornite. Quattro stelle solo per il personale poco sorridente e perché in camera c’era un leggero strano odore che usciva dal gabinetto. Inoltre al mattino le donne delle pulizie alle 9.30 vengono a bussare alla camera per pulirla (nonostante in check-out fosse fissato tra le 10 e le 10.30.

Ero ad un convegno medico. Sono rimasto davvero e entusiasta dell’impareggiabile gentilezza di tutto il personale, sempre disponibile e sorridente. La struttura e’ molto bella con piscina immersa nel verde e con la spiaggia privata a cui si accede con un sottopasso sicuro di 50 metri. Consigliato per qualsiasi tipo di persona, dalle famiglie ai viaggi di lavoro. Di più non si può’ chiedere

Отель очень удачно расположен: недалеко от старого города, пляжа, в пяти минутах ходьбы от большого супермаркета. До жд вокзала - 20 минут пешком. Хоть общие зоны отеля требуют ремонта, но мой номер был чистым, просторным, хорошо укомплектованным. Мне было в нем очень комфортно.

We have stayed at the Palace Hotel many times as we visit family in the area. It is consistently outstanding! The hotel was renovated in the last couple of years and it has only improved with that effort. The hotel, view of the sea, and location are all excellent. However, it is the truly friendly staff that distinguishes every stay. From reception to the wait staff, they are all friendly, smiling, and helpful. A great choice to stay if in Catanzaro Lido!!

Location comodissima per il centro di Reggio Calabria, soprattutto per il museo archeologico e il lungomare. Parcheggio perfetto davanti all'ingresso, procedure di check in/out velocissime , spazi comuni ben tenuti e arredati. Camera di dimensioni generose con un bell'armadio e un bagno spazioso e ben fornito. Non ho usufruito di colazione e pasti. Unico difetto la mancanza di prese elettriche vicino al letto.
