Hotel Beach di Campania, Italy

This hotel boasts a classic style with rich burgundy tones and well-appointed wooden furnishings. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. The front desk staff were kind and efficient. Our room was spacious and bright, just as pictured on their website. The continental breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of pastries and cakes, served in a room with a sea view. The location is ideal, perfect for reaching both Piazza del Plebiscito and the various restaurants along the Partenope seafront. Overall, a very positive experience.

The location of the accommodation is really great!! 👍🏻👍🏻 It's located right in front of the beach, and there's a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is any accommodation in Positano with a better location. Air conditioning and refrigeration are both provided. It may be a bit difficult to find the entrance to the accommodation when checking in. The large yellow building is the accommodation, and the entrance is between the accommodation and the restaurant on the left side facing the accommodation. If you go through that iron door, you will find the accommodation! The host is an old lady named Rossa, and although she doesn't speak English very well, she tries to explain things as kindly and easily as possible. When I said I wanted to use porter service on the day of check-out, they made a reservation for me. I was worried because there were a lot of bad reviews, but it was really good. It was the best accommodation, so beautiful and nice. We also upgraded our room. Everyone, make your accommodation reservations :) I miss the kind rossa. The hotel is wonderful, but I still felt uncomfortable. I didn't really like the staff at the front desk. Maybe not all of them are like that, but still... during conversations, there was a mocking emphasis on my not-so-good English. It was unpleasant. But overall: everywhere was clean, the linen fresh, breakfasts with a sea view and quite good, though repetitive, but there was hot food, which I haven't encountered in other hotels in Italy. And most importantly, the sea is nearby! And that's a huge plus. Another point... Periodically, noisy parties are held on the hotel's rooftop, so if that bothers you, take note. Personally, it didn't bother me. They don't warn you about this when checking in. By the way, the view from the rooftop is amazing, and there's a small pool.

This is the biggest chain hotel in Sorrento, located halfway up the hill, about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center's pedestrian street. Transportation is quite convenient. The hardware facilities are fine, and the breakfast is plentiful, with a chef making omelets on the spot. However, the service is truly awful! Check-in was incredibly slow. First, they couldn't find my reservation, then they mixed up names. Just because Chinese people share the same surname, do they automatically assume we're the same person? Laughable! Naturally, the room we were given had the wrong setup. We booked a triple room, but as photo 3 shows, the bed should have been made, and all the amenities were only for two people. We had to go to the front desk ourselves to get more. We tried calling, they said 'OK,' but nothing was delivered all night. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, unless the price drops significantly.

We originally booked Hotel Aequa for one night and extended our stay to seven nights, which reflects how comfortable and convenient the experience was overall. The pictures show the lovely pictures of the compound. Very pet friendly. The hotel is very well located as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and Naples. It offers a quieter and more practical alternative to staying in the more crowded tourist areas, while still providing easy access to key destinations. The room was comfortable, with a balcony that provided a good view. The ground floor common areas are spacious and well laid out, creating a pleasant environment to relax outside of the room. Breakfast is consistent and enjoyable, with items such as hot chocolate and a well-prepared cheese omelette. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. Housekeeping is reliable, with rooms cleaned daily and maintained to a good standard. The hotel also provides a private car park at a reasonable rate of 15 euros per day, which is particularly convenient for those driving in the region. There is a lift available, making it easy to access rooms with luggage. Amenities are very good overall, contributing to a comfortable and well-managed stay. The hotel offers a balanced combination of convenience, comfort, and value, making it a strong choice for travelers exploring this part of Italy.

My family and I had a precious and memorable experience at Casa Astarita guesthouse in October. Although we walked for a while from the bus station to the house, we soon realized that we were already passing through the most central and lively area of Sorrento. Everything we wanted—restaurants, gift shops, gelato and drink bars, supermarkets, and more—was just a few steps from the guesthouse. The reception and hospitality at Casa Astarita were even more surprising and heartwarming, making us feel truly at home. We were deeply touched and grateful to be guests here. We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast time with other guests in the common dining area. The maids were kind and thoughtful, customizing our meals to our preferences. The room was spacious, and the furniture solid and traditionally functional—not designed for those expecting luxury decor, but perfectly comfortable. The balcony overlooked the main street below, where we could hear buskers and Italian music playing from the nearby restaurants, giving us an immersive sense of the city. On our checkout day, as we wanted to stay in the city until late, we were gladly offered luggage storage without hesitation. We sincerely thank the host for their considerate and customer-oriented service.

If you want to visit Positano, staying here is a relatively cheap option. It takes about 20 minutes to get here by water taxi from Positano, and the cost seems to be 50 euros. It takes about 70 minutes by bus, and it seems to be a few dollars per person, which is much cheaper. The mountain road is winding but the scenery is very good. There is a bus stop at the door of the hotel. If you are carsick, you should take a boat, which is faster. If you mind a relatively large budget, it is recommended to stay in Positano. However, the restaurant on the rooftop of this hotel is delicious and cheap, about 50 euros per person. The massage service is really yyds 150 euros per hour. The waiter said it is a hanging massage unique to this island. The cost is also relatively cheap. The room is relatively ordinary with a country style but clean.

Considering the price everything should have been much better but the location is the main selling point I get it. I was given a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome drink. My room was overlooking trash cans. And was noisy during the night and early morning. If you ignore the trash cans, the view is to die for. The balcony is tiny but cute, the room also pretty small. The bathroom a bit tacky and outdated. The restaurant and breakfast options was very retro and the balcony with the best views was too hot to sit on (could have fans and a mobile AC), so I sat inside, missing out on the view. The huge but lovely tessellated room key had to be left at the reception desk which made moving around inconvenient. The pool is nice but the pool restaurant is very unpleasant to eat at, again because of the heat. The pool shower doesn’t have any gels or shampoos. There is no proper changing room nor are you provided slippers (I checked in early and wanted to go for a swim).

Hotel it’s self is good but the staff asked for 50 euros cash for cleaning fee which is insane and the C trip helped me solved problem
