Hotel Beach di Campania, Italy

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

El mejor hotel precio/calidad que he estado. Lugar que ya he visitado varias veces, los recepcionistas atentos y muy simpáticos. Incluso hasta hablan Español. Si bien es pequeño, es un verdadero 4 estrellas, todas las comodidades, atención y buen precio.

Hotel davvero consigliato. La location è molto curata in ogni particolare un design alla moda e ricercato, le stanze confortevoli e dotate di ogni confort, la colazione con prodotti di prima qualità e ricercati. Il servizio spiaggia incluso nel prezzo è un plus….

An old small hotel but clean. Comfortable bed and some bath amenities. Bathroom small and toilet lid and seat not attached. Air conditioned which was a bonus. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching passer-by’s. A very short walk to the beach, patisseries and to the ferry.

A very smart clean hotel with an excellent pool and access to the sea, the rooms were large and well appointed with all the amenities you would expect.  The location is away from other restaurants and attractions but this is made clear in the description when booking, it wasn’t a problem for us as we had a car, they run a shuttle to the nearest railway station at Vico equense, if you have a car it’s easy to drive there and park in the underground parking in the center of town, from there getting the train to anywhere you want is easy and cheap. Only two slight criticisms, 1 the shower wasn’t particularly hot or powerful and 2 they need to vary the restaurant menu at least a couple of times a week if only by a few dishes. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Lindas habitaciones, pero la piscina no estaba habilitada. El servicio de desayuno no nos ha gustado, era muy pobre el desayuno. No repetiría.

Good place and well located. The SPA was decent.

這家酒店很漂亮，整個園區搞的都很漂亮。設施也很新，裏面還有一次性拖鞋。早餐品質也很好，感覺是在意大利為數不多的性價比很高的酒店，下次去了還願意住這裏。

Excellent hotel in Sorrento! My room was huge and spotless. Swimming pool is well maintained! I would love to come back anytime!

Hotel correct. La chambre normale est un peu petite. La situation est très centrale à côté de restaurants disponibles. La personnel est très chaleureux et à l’écoute. Un charme un peu désuet pour ceux qui apprécient. Le problème est surtout la parking. Toute les places publiques sont payantes (1 euro l’heure) et presque toutes occupées même en hiver ou alors vous payez 20 euros la journée a l’hôtel. Le buffet du déjeuner est garni et bon. Les communs (salle à manger) non chauffés fin février, en tout cas c’était mon impression.
