The hotel is located on the cliff and the coast, with a quiet environment. The sea view room faces Mount Vesuvius, which is refreshing! The lights of the bay in the distance at night are even more romantic!

This hotel is very beautiful and the whole park is very beautiful. The facilities are also very new, and there are disposable slippers inside. The quality of breakfast is also very good. It feels like it is one of the few cost-effective hotels in Italy. I am willing to live here next time.

We are enjoying the relaxing yet fun atmosphere at Hotel Olímpico. This place is truly a gem. Don’t be fooled by the distance from the port or train, as they offer complementary shuttle to downtown. There is also parking on the premises. Our room was clean and modern with a great balcony. The tv offers channels in multiple languages. There was a mini fridge in suite with drinks for purchase.
The Hotel has a large pool with a poolside bar where you can catch the latest game. The food at the restaurant was beautifully prepared and I highly recommend the steak with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes.
Just across the street you can enjoy a private beach for hotel guests with chairs and umbrellas.
We will come back.

Our stay at this property was nothing short of extraordinary. We were given a beautiful room with breathtaking views of both the mountains and the lake — waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. The garden is truly magical, carefully designed and so peaceful that you immediately feel at home.
The reception area is stunning, and the rooms themselves are to die for — spacious, elegant, and perfectly maintained. Everything about the place feels thoughtful and refined.
Breakfast was amazing, with fresh, delicious options that made every morning feel special. And the owners… incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They truly care about their guests, and it shows in every detail.
This is one of the most marvelous places I have ever stayed. Highly recommended — I would return in a heartbeat! 🌿✨

The room I live in feels like a tin house. In fact, winter is good. The room looks out to the sea. The sunrise is beautiful. 10 euros a breakfast. It is only a bag, cheese, and ham. The coffee is not delivered. Maybe because of the off-season, you must live in the same house before you check in. Communication, If it's not the hotel, no one will help you check in

MMarcos 305We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive.
Location & Safety
The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind.
The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour.
Room & Comfort
The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day.
The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels.
Service & Atmosphere
The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard.
One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere.
Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

AAnonymous UserIt was a nice stay, although due to a severe lack of public transportation around I highly recommend you grab your driving licence, because without it you'll be stranded and going around places is painful. Buses don't really go according to schedule, and you need tickets that might be hard to get.
The view from the residence is super beautiful though, and it's windy up there, so during the summer heat it feels nice.
There is a swimming pool very close to the residence, so if you don't have a need to swim in the sea that might be a good idea. But also, the swimming pool organises parties every Thursday, and the music is incredibly loud until 2-3 am.
The residence itself was great and clean and the owner was very helpful with explaining where everything is. If we had questions about the residence he'd reply with a helpful answer.

Ppaulrob200A good stay in a location close to ferry terminal and railway stations. Plenty of restaurants around both on the more expensive sea front or a few streets inland. Bruno & Enzos Pizzeria at €6 a pizza is a great place. Take the cable car up to Monte Faito for stunning views of Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri. Ferry to Sorrento is €4. Train connections to Pompei and Ercolano. Room clean and spacious, basic continental breakfast. Breakfast view is amazing but seems tour groups get sitting priority. Also be aware that on Friday and Saturday evening there was a function on rooftop bar until 11pm with loud music. Castellammare is nowhere near as pretty as Sorrento but with its proximity to the major attractions and reasonable price its worth considering.

Unfortunately the spa was closed due to the season!
The rooms are large and clean, the superior room even had two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub... I understand, both with a toilet...

GGuest UserThe service was amazing. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to accommodate. After arriving late we were late for breakfast but the staff put together a player of pastries and serve us coffee on the balcony. The bartender Rafael made an amazing drinks. My girlfriend asked for a cocktail ( French Blonde) off the menu and he was able to make it. We would definitely stay there again despite the hotel being a drive away from Sorrento.

Ppaulrob200Very comfortable stay. Nice, clean room certainly no complaints in that respect. Location is outside of the centre of Salerno, however a half-hourly train can be caught 5 minutes walk away from the hotel, which gets u into Salerno in 15 minutes, and u can be at the tourist ferry terminal in 25 minutes. A small number of restaurants around and a supermarket is 2 minutes away.
Breakfast was very basic but was sufficient enough. Not too bad for the price point and definitely cheaper than Amalfi Coast, but the easy access to Amalfi Coast made it worth the stay.
