Hotel Beach di Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

This property is BEAUTIFUL. I loved every part of our stay. The room was so spacious with thoughtful amenities, the public baths and pool area felt very luxurious and clean, and the location is hard to beat in Naha. The staff are all very kind and thoughtful, many spoke English but even those who didn't were extremely patient with my little Japanese. I would like specifically thank Santosh from the front desk staff. We ran into an issue with our baggage getting delivered in time before our departure to our country and if it wasn't for his help we wouldn't have had a hope of ever seeing that luggage again. His compassion and willingness to help us clueless tourists navigate our options and prepare our luggage for delivery will be remembered for a long time. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends traveling to Naha!

Love the ocean view room, however they gave me a room on the second floor and they are always taxi waiting outside and sometimes the diver smokes and it gets into the room. There are a microwave, stove (no pots/pans, cutlery and tableware), fridge and a washing machine (you can turn the shower area into a dryer by using the setting) available in the room. Detergent can be purchased for 100yen from the front desk. I used the paid parking (1000 yen) as it was raining - the parking area next to it is for hospital visitors, park at your own risk. Location wise, you will need a car to get around. Or else, metered taxi are easily available as it is right next to a hospital. You will need to drive out most of the time, as the restaurants nearby are very limited and closes early. There is no access to beach as it is a sea wall. Take note of the check in time as it opens till 8pm only.

Overall I feel very satisfied with everything! Hotel is beautiful with nice beach, tidy and new. I enjoy here so much. Many ”flies” are coming to room when we open the glass door, but we like to stay in balcony to sit and drink, also enjoy the view. Indoor swimming pool is little bit cold, also cold water except jacuzzi, kids are easy to be sick, suggest to make heater for warm.

The stay was pleasant. Breakfast was improved compared to last year. Even though the outdoor swimming pools were not opened yet, indoor swimming pool was good to use and Sauna was excellent too. The surrounding environment is very beautiful. All were good except the fact that it was hard to communicate with staffs. Most of staffs spoke only Japanese.

Ryukyu Onsen Senagajima Hotel is a very authentic Okinawan stay, especially for those who appreciate traditional Japanese bathing culture. The onsen, located in the basement, is the true highlight — well maintained, relaxing, and distinctly local in feel. It adds a layer of cultural experience that many newer hotels simply don’t offer. The hotel makes a convenient base for exploring Senagajima itself. You can easily walk around the small island, with cafés, shops and coastal paths just outside. Many rooms offer views toward the airport, which is fascinating for plane enthusiasts — though it’s important to note that runway proximity means aircraft noise can be noticeable. Overall, I’d rate it 4/5: slightly dated in parts, but authentic and well located. Also love the airport shuttle.

It’s surrounded by massage parlours but felt quite safe. Can walk to the busy part of Naha in about 15 minutes. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I wanted to onsen. That was the biggest draw for me. There wasn’t much customer service. Check in with a computer. Same with check out. We had a small Honda N box and they said it’s too tall for their car park. They provided a list of nearby car parks. Again not much service there.

Watching the sun dip below the horizon around 5:00 PM is a transformative experience that defines the beauty of this resort.

Fantastic hotel. None of us, especially the kids, wants to leave the hotel at check-out. They upgrade my room from level 6 to 9 premium club. It paid off to stay in an ocean facing room. The room is clean and well maintained. Although this is not a new hotel (where lifts require cardkey) the rooms locks are cardkey based. Bed is a bit hard for me, but were just as hard for the other hotels i stayed there :^_^:. The breakfast spread is wide and tasty. The restaurant can get crowded over weekend (but you can still managed to find a seat). The beach lagoon is shallow and water is super clean and calm. There are big malls/outlet, restaurants and super markets within 5~10 min drive. It's around 20min drive to popular attractions like Okinawa world, Gandala valley, Chinen Park, Peace memorials, etc. There is also free performance at 6pm on Fri/Sat evening, which IMO is better than those at theme parks. The hotel gives 10% coupon for outlet and Iias mall (remember to use). Note parking is still charged, at 550y per night, which seems to be standard for resort hotels in Okinawan (?)

Modern hotel that is well located near the monorail. It is quiet and near good cafes and restaurants. Booked compact room with good double bed that could fit the small room. Heard the coffee was amazing but did not try it.

Excellent stay, highly recommended. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the room was surprisingly spacious. The bathroom was great and felt comfortable. It was also extremely quiet, which made it easy to rest. The value for the price was excellent, and the free parking lot made getting around very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
