Hotel Beach di Okinawa Prefecture, Japan

Great hotel with a very good location. We booked it as a friend group but the hotel has a heavy focus for families with little children. They offer a lot of goodies and amenities like baby food, stroller, beach stuff etc.. One think that we liked are the hotel bicycles that we could simply rent out. The room itself was really clean and spacious. I would definitely book again for the next time in Naha.

The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts.

We booked the highest floor with exclusive free flow of drinks from 12 noon to 10 pm. We get priority in service and breakfast was good with many offerings of their local delicacies like seaweed grapes, brown sugar and such. The private Onsen in our room with the beautiful sea view and the direct view of the landing pad of the airport and the reach of eateries just below the hotel with a 2 minutes drive. Location was quite central to the places we planned to visit and throughly enjoyed our stay there. Recommend you pay a little more for the exclusive member deal and will definitely stay there if we visit Okinawa again.

LeQu Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort is a really convenient place to stay, especially for a short trip around the Chatan area. Check-in is quick and straightforward, and getting to the hotel is easy. Having parking available makes things even more convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept, so it’s easy to settle in and relax. The onsen was a bit of a letdown. It’s clean and spacious, but there’s only one large pool, so it feels quite limited compared to what some might expect. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise. There’s a good variety, and even vegan options are available, which isn’t always easy to find. The location is also a big plus, being just a short walk from American Village, where there are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay with a few minor downsides depending on what you’re looking for in the onsen.

Nice hotel close to Naha city beach, Naminou Shrine, and only a few minutes drive to/from Naha airport (free shuttle service available at fixed times). The hotel offers good value for money, with the hotel's onsen and breakfast buffet being the clear highlights. Location is not super close to the Yui Rail station and there are many adult entertainment facilities behind the hotel - so keep that in mind if traveling with family. Walking to nearby convenience stores takes a few minutes, but the hotel has its own 24/7 store that is stocked with all the essentials Check-in and check-out are done via self service terminals, which were quick and easy to use. But there are also staff members present who can assist and handle things like luggage storage. Regarding the room, unfortunately there was lots of condensation building up on the AC unit - and with that unit being located right above the bed, occasionally drops of water would fall right onto the pillow and/or your head. Not sure what can be done about this, but I saw another review mentioning it and wanted to confirm that this is indeed one of the few unpleasant aspects of the room / the stay at this hotel.

Overall speaking, this hotel is value for money if choosing to stay in Onna Village. The ocean view is spectacular. We enjoyed it so much especially on the last day of our trip. We eventually had the blue sky and white clouds. The room is very spacious with a nice balcony! That's most precious for our holiday. Since it was early Nov, the outdoor pool was closed. We used the indoor pool which comes with a outdoor jacuzzi. That's so lovely. Regrettably, the indoor pool was not available to use until after 9:00am in the morning, that was so inconvenient for hotel guests. We normally can't swim after having a nice breakfast. There is an airport limousine at the main entrance of the hotel, that is very convenient for us because the hotel is located on the hill slope. We did not drive. So, we chose to book the limousine bus at the hotel concierge to save us time and energy to walk downhill to take the city bus after we checked out. Although it cost 5000 yens for the BBQ dinner, the variety of food is good. So, we were quite happy with the money spent on it. The breakfast buffet also provided a good selection of food especially a good selection of cooked food with local veggies as ingredients. It was worth spending HK$140 for each of us.

We enjoyed it so much! The view from the room was beautiful. The room itself was spacious and had almost everything necessary. The breakfast was so diverse and delicious. They also have a free shuttle bus to the emerald beach and Chaurumi aquarium.

The hotel is located relatively near Naha airport. The surrounding is calm but there is not much else directly around the hotel. The hotel itself is very modern and clean. Service is excellent. The lunch buffet is especially great. Breakfast is pretty good. I would like to especially highlight the friendliness and warmth of Javi who suggested us food and activities and genuinely cared about our well being.

This hotel is perfect if you wish to engage in beach activities such as jet ski led rides and wakeboarding. The water and beach are clean. But everything else like Aeon Mall for shopping, Neo Park and Pineapple Park for tourist activities, you are going to have to taxi it into Nago which costs around US$23. The aquarium was about US$55 away by taxi too. Also, the restaurants in the area are limited and you need to taxi into Nago for more choices. There are no gym facilities nearby but then again, I was on a family holiday. For families, access to a laundry room is an important factor and this hotel had this facility. The buffet breakfast was a decent spread; salad, sausages, rice, congee, cereals, bread, pancakes, waffles. The bacon wasn't available and was substituted by ham or steamed salted chicken but that isn't a complaint. The hotel offer free drinks of fruit juice, soft drinks, tea and roast bean coffee from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The place is about 5min drive to the American Village. It's actually a long walk to the village even though the people tells u it's just near by. You can walk... If you are a Singaporean, double confirm chop, you should drive. Our walking distance for far and near is very very different from the Japanese and Koreans, or most other countries. Due to our efficient public transport system, we are spoilt. We don't really walk that much, so conserve your energy for exploration and shopping, not walking. 😄 This hotel has staff that speaks excellent English, a refreshing change after a few days in Okinawa. They provide a simple free breakfast and have a separate showroom and WC. The shower room is really tiny. But the overall stay is very comfortable. It's definitely worth a repeat booking.
