Hotel Beach di Kedah, Malaysia

For the price, the room standard seaview is good. Got connecting room with my parents. Abit old with furnitures and abit stain on the bedsheets. Cleanliness is acceptable Lack of plug points beside bed. Showers is okay, need to wait for hot water, and my parents bathroom have clogged issues. Aircond is great. Service is good with friendly staffs. Overall environment is quiet and relaxing. Will come back next round ☀️

The staff is really friendly, the room and bathroom are comfortable to use, the swimming pool is really great just in front of the rooms. Lots of amenities. 15-20 min of walk to the main street with shops beach etc pretty good location. Only thing is that there is no laundry service (there is a 24h service laundry around 5 min by car)

Location is right infront of the beach, depending on which room you get, you may get balcony and view the beach from your room. The room I have is viewing the road. There is also car rental, restaurants, 7-11 and tour booking right downstairs which make it very convenient. Initially when we check in, the toilet is choked and not usable, the staff is able to change our room quickly. Would be good if they did a check first next time, so can minimise changing of room. Is sad thing that the swimming pool is down for maintenance during our trip. Just to note, there is no hair dryer, so need to borrow from counter for 2hrs max.

Booked seaview room. Perfect business gateway and of course family gateway. Can relax and enjoy swimming pool, beach and sunset after hectic meeting. with this kind of facilities, makes me missed my children and family because the facility really families friendly. The food was not many choices but fair enough as u can have breakfast by sea with such a nice view.

Lovely Stay – Great Value, Super Comfortable and Friendly Staff! 🥰🥰 We stayed here for one night and had such a great experience! We booked the family of four room even though it was just the two of us — we wanted a big bed each, haha — and it was perfect. The beds were king-size and super comfy, so we both slept really well. The room was clean, spacious and very affordable — great value for money. A kettle and tea were provided, which was a nice touch. There weren’t many amenities, though — just a wall-mounted body wash (no separate shampoo or conditioner) — but for the price, it was still excellent. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. We asked for a hair dryer and they brought one right away. There’s also a refillable water station between the rooms with both hot and cold water, which was really convenient. We liked the outdoor seating area too and they kindly ask that smokers sit outside with doors and windows closed — which keeps everything fresh inside. We took a Grab to Tengah Beach in the evening — it was quick and cheap both ways. The only small thing to note is that there aren’t many shops within walking distance, but taxis and Grab rides are very affordable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again! The hotel is located a little away from the main attractions, which may not be ideal for sightseeing, but it does make the place feel more peaceful and suitable for relaxation or healing. The pool area is nice and enjoyable. However, during my stay, a group of guests gathered outside by the pool at night, speaking and laughing loudly. This disturbed the otherwise calm environment, and I wish the hotel could manage such situations better to ensure a restful stay for all guests. The price is affordable with breakfast.

Initially we are curious because we never been outside the langkawi mainland. In our trip here, i think we are the only malaysian there, but the hospitality given to us both were beyond words. Amenities, room, location and food were perfect. For a nature lovers like us, i think is good place to run away from busy life in city. Just be aware with the boat schedule, and plan your trip ahead. You can stay in the island whole day, but its depend on your type of holiday that you seek. I definitely would come back again.

The resort has a great location, with easy access to beach, and the amenities and cleanliness are well-maintained. The swimming pool was also very good for kids, making it a nice choice for families. Breakfast was quite good and offered a decent variety. However, the windows in the room cannot be opened, which made the space feel a bit stuffy at times. Additionally, the staff could be more welcoming and friendly to enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, it’s a good place to stay, but there’s room for improvement in service.

Very beautiful super clean and spacious private villa right across the beach where you can watch the most mesmerizing sunset ever ! There’s a nearby restaurant with western menue and drinks! They serve food in big portions and it tastes delicious with a very attentive service ! The hotel breakfast is also abundant and good ! Most if all the staff is very friendly ! The hotel is 6 minutes from the airport and if you rent a car or scooter it should be convenient to drive to nearby restaurants and beaches as the island is small ! Very quiet and calm ! Would come back here !

The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.
